If you have the means to tip a $100 per bottle min or more, with the right host, it can make a huge difference over the standard $100 total tip.

I really wonder if hosts remember their BS guests..... I think it may take a few visits for them to recognize you...

I've got a few tables booked with host, when is it best to contact the host to re-confirm when we got over there? On the day or earlier the better?

Thats a good question. It really depends whos booking I guess and how many times they use the same host.

I usually do it on the day. When I m on my way i stay in text contact so I know exactly where to meet them at the ropes. It saves you the time of walking up to some random host, then having them look for your actual host.

also make sure to ask what time you need to be there. I wasn't told I had to be at Marquee @ 10pm... caused huge problems.

We've always greased around a hundo per bottle (or more) but we usually know the guy and are asking for good tables. Your grease will have alot to do with your table location.

Last trip we tipped the host $100 at the door for each nite at Tao, Bank & Jet. We received fairly good table locations at all three.

The only issue was at Tao, because we had a table at the moat (main room just below the VIP stage), we couldn't technically get up to the VIP level.

Is there any way to avoid this in the future? ie. can we tip for wrist bands or something else?

                          So, for example:
You tip your host $100 when you meet him outside and he takes you to your table.
Then you buy 2 bottles @ $325 per bottle + 20% grat + 8% tax? Is that grat the tips for the club and waitresses?
Do I need to tip anyone else???
                          Sept 14th - 19th - Bellagio - 6 guys

I always tip the security guys too. They'll look after you and check in to make sure things are to your satisfaction.

Waitress extra if she is good, there is generally like a "bus-boy" cleaning out old/empty stuff... depending your bottle/needs - they may need/want a cut

Also if you have security bringing you girls, or you see them bounce people hanging around your bottle they might want a few bucks

I usually do $100-$200 to the host depending on what kind of deal set us up with. Maybe $40 if there is another host invovled. Then $20-$40 per security guard in our area, and if the hostess is treating us well a little bit extra her way as well.

                                Its entirely up to you..
