Need Nightclub Help/advice

I was there in 07 with my sister, friend, and SO and not only did we have to wait because we had 1 guy with us (I was also on the list through Napkin Nights, didn't work) they didn't take the passes cause it was Brody Jenner's bday. I'm like, who the hell is that guy? I mean, that's a celebrity restriction?!? (I learned then he was from the godawful hills, no offense to anyone who likes it here!)

Anyway, it was a bad night overall b/c of the waiting, outrageous cover, and wall to wall people. I've learned since to only go with girls and get in on a real list through a real person and we've never had trouble since or paid anything.

I was also a club newbie in vegas, as were the people I was with, so we didn't know about greasing the doormen and stuff...So, I think if you can get in right away and there's no celebrity party that night, then you should be fine.

Theres almost always a celebrity at the major clubs. They were just using that as an excuse. On a night where the club has the potential to reach MAX CAPACITY, guest list, freebies, ect. ect., are hard to get. The doorman are gonna milk everyone (except hot girls on there A game), and the host are gonna seat the best paying clients.

I have personally used NapkinNights guest list twice in 07 at TAO, and it worked fine. AND Im a guy. Oh and Tommy Lee was there one of those nights

honestly, if a $30 cover is keeping you from going into a club, its probably not the right club for you.

the OP admitted they are poor college students, so, yeah, i'd say a $30 cover is out of their range. this does NOT rule out going to some of the finer clubs the city has to offer.

i just got back from 6 nights where we hit tryst, XS, bank, audigier, hard rock pool, foundation room....paid NOTHING to get in and greased ZERO palms.
granted, i had a lovely lady with me. hence my advice to meet some girls early in the trip.

napkin nights had worked for me in the past (maybe 2.5 years ago) as well, but lately it wasn't enough to get me in the door. Particularly if you are in a group of guys, they are going to look for grease on the palms as this is how they make their money for the night...

i don't want to hijack this guy's thread, but yeah, she's a goddess to me. i think it's more
that the way we carry ourselves tells the hosts and doormen that we are there to turn
the party out and blow some cash

We were thinking of staying at the Venetian. Since we'd be guests of the hotel, do they give us any more priority in getting into Tao/Tao Beach?

You can probably get your cover waived. Anything above that, will probably depend on how crowded it is.

He didnt stay long. He had an area roped off right by table 63. He didnt seem like he was having a good time, idk. I just happen to walk by when he was getting up to leave, otherwise I wouldnt have even known he was there.
