    first time in vegas

    hello all

i am presently mid way through a 3 month trip at sea , and am planning a week or so in vegas in April . I will be traveling alone and am looking to party hard , My question is simple where are the best places for a bloke the wrong side of 30 to meet and chat with some ladies ,
my likes include rock music , punk , tattoos ( i am heavily tattooed )
dance Clubs not really my thing and dont want to look like some sad old fart at the side of a club oggling young girls .
Any good places on and off the strip ?
any ideas on hotels would also be brilliant .

    cheers in advance Sailor

Nah, you wouldn't be crashing a party, all are welcome and there's plenty of time to make friends with everyone before then...I'm guessing that after April you'll want to go back as soon as possible Vegas is addictive!!

Some other nightlife to check out when you are here would be HAZE at ARIA.

Special events have not been scheduled as far out to April just yet but check the website to see what will be scheduled when you get here!

Nah bro. It's just a friendly community. The more you post, the more you build a relationship with people.

I've never met anyone off of these boards. My trips seem to miss people by like a day or two.

I'd still recommend you come in May instead. It's gonna be biblical proportions yo.

    Hard Rock, not so much.

I also like that I can sit in the Sports Book at TI and drink all day esentially for free because they don't use that stupid drink ticket system.

The rooms are also updated, and even though some people hate on their clientele, I find it to be a good mix. Not overly gaudy like Bellagio and not trashy like Luxor. That's just my opinion though.

True the hot night spots are at the Hard Rock these days, but I'd rather cab over there at night and have all those other places available to me during the day.

That being said the Hard Rock def wins on food selection.

If possible either move your trip up to March or wait until the mAyOD. It's gonna be insane.
would love to mate but stuck in Africa till about the 20th of March , aint seen my mother for about 6 months so need to check on her , and dont want to crash you lots party , i am a newbie and you lot seem to get on so well .

cheers for the input mate , keep it coming

    Regards Will

right good people cheers for the help so far , you all been top
    just a few more questions
1- money , how much would you say i need to do it right ?
2- what is VIP stuff ? would it be worth it for a single bloke ?
3-should i go for the HRH towers ? or try the $20/$50 sandwich to get an upgrade ?, how likely is it to work in Hard
    rock ?

    Cheers Will

Plus we could pop back easily to get changed etc...
But if you're hitting Vanity and Wasted Space, HRH might make sense
