first time in vegas

hello all

i am presently mid way through a 3 month trip at sea , and am planning a week or so in vegas in April . I will be traveling alone and am looking to party hard , My question is simple where are the best places for a bloke the wrong side of 30 to meet and chat with some ladies ,
my likes include rock music , punk , tattoos ( i am heavily tattooed )
dance Clubs not really my thing and dont want to look like some sad old fart at the side of a club oggling young girls .
Any good places on and off the strip ?
any ideas on hotels would also be brilliant .

i have looked at the hard rock , but always mentions the 20s crowd , and also the beautyful people , i can assure you i am niether lol being 6'3 , shaven headed ,heavily tattooed, built like a bear and looking like a bulldog chewing a wasp

are you sure i wouldnt be out of place
i was thinking more downtown , but am open to ALL ideas , after all your the experts

Lol, I'm sort of the resident Hard Rock fangirl. I'm moving to Vegas in July and am hoping HR will be my future employer.

Wasted Space is definitely a great spot for you guys to hang out, they have a very diverse crowd and it is a rock club, so being tatted out is very common place (most of the workers have massive ink).

Vanity is a great spot as well, but you'll have to be much more mindful of what you're wearing, but Rock style is always appreciated at the Hard Rock

i am mostly a jeans and tshirt type of bloke ( will leave the TATTOOED MOTHER FUCKERS Tshirts at home then ( my fav band ) , occasionly chuck a ben sherman on and VERY rarely i get fully suited and booted for a day at the races or such , so dress codes may well be an issue for me too lol, sorry not making it easy for ya all , but if i aint honest what would be the point ?

I agree with Aria, Hard Rock sounds like your place.. maybe even Palms.

I would bring a suit with you though.. you don't need a tie. Always nice to have something nice to wear in Vegas.. you never know when you might need it.

I don't know, Brit Sailor doesn't seem to me like a guy who will like the majority of the Hard Rock crowd.

Seems like much more of a Double Down -- and beyond -- crowd kind of guy to me.

i was wondering about the hard rock because i have read so much about it , 20s crowd and quite flash , this is 100% not me ! but everybody else says its ok ?
dont get me wrong i love a loud one all week long , but not if i have sod all in common with the people around me .
i am no thug or mug , and can converse with just about anybody and have a laugh .
