That is a great response to the argument NYC, and in all actuality I can make no rebuttal towards it, due to the fact that your right, none of the Highest paid teams have won this decade - with the maybe the exclusion of the 04/07 Red Sox. I'm not sure of their respective payrolls those years, but I believe they were usually around 2nd in the mid-decade. You are also correct in that Chemistry is key to any team. If there are problems in the club house from egotistical superstars, it carries out onto the field. But chemistry aside, the big market teams will always have the distinct advantage to field their teams with 5 tool players and super stars over the off season and be heavily favored come March.
