Me: “Baby, I’m not wearing my wedding band or engagement ring in Vegas. I hope you’re ok with that.”
Hubby: silence + deadpan stare
Me: “I mean just when I’m out partying.”
Hubby: “How much will you be partying?”
Me: “ 4 double headers.”
Hubby: “Well if it means, me not having to pay for your drinks, fine. Oh, and you might as well leave the rings at home. Don’t want you to call me crying about how you lost them.”
Yes, my husband is that awesome!
Background:
This trip was for a bachelorette. In total there were eight ladies (25 – 28 years old), staying at the Cosmo. Most of us have been to Vegas on several occasions and LOVE it. We had two virgins with us and after having their cherries popped, they’re obsessed like the rest of us.

We really like to party. And that’s basically all we did this trip. No shows. No sightseeing. No extravagant restaurants.
And FYI, this one is gonna be a long one…
7am flight out of NYC got us into Vegas by 9 am. Sooooo early. We tried sleeping on the flight but were too excited. Flight was full of people in our age group ready to party. I talked to a few guys sitting around me that wanted us to party with them that night. But I politely declined. How is what happens in Vegas supposed to stay there if it comes home to the same city as us?
We arrived at McCarran and it looked nothing like I remembered. Haven’t been back for two years and I think I read that they built a new terminal. Anyway, I booked a stretch Escalade limo through Presidential and the driver was waiting for us when we arrived with a cute sign. Way more than enough room for all of us and our excessive luggage. I think the total cost for the limo was about $270 roundtrip. We stopped at CVS for snacks, booze and water then headed over to Cosmo.
Check in took forever. The girls slipped the nice man a $20 sandwich and he hooked us up with two adjoining suites. Shitty view on a low floor, but we didn’t care at all. We went up to our room, waited for the bags and then walked over to a Mexican place at Fashion Show Mall. Bad idea. Jesus, it’s hot in the desert! Had the blue cheeseburger and chocolate shake with fries. I think it cost me about $25. Good thing it was a huge meal, because that was the first of only two real meals that we ate over the weekend.
Cabbed back to the Cosmo, changed into bikinis and went over to Liquid. Now, I am not really a huge fan of Liquid because the pool is teeny tiny. But for a Thursday it was a solid choice. No cover, cabana with no minimum spend and it wasn’t too rammed. We met some cool guys and more than few creepers. An old drunk couple that swings tried to recruit Mel hahaha. The lady said to her, “We’ve been married for 25 years and we keep things exciting. I have sex with my husband and him and him…” The swingers were NOT hot. A couple of hours after we got there, the beach balls started coming out. Those things are fucking annoying as fuck. It’s fun for the first five minutes, but it got old pretty quick. I saw quite a few drinks get knocked out of peoples hands by them. It happened to me and that shit pisses me off! My drink!! We left at around 5 to shower and nap.
I napped from 7-9 and woke up feeling fresh and ready for Tao. Got up, showered, did my hair and make up and got dressed. As a side note, I love being a girly girl. I love getting all prettied up but it’s kind of a pain because it takes a fair amount of time. However, in Vegas it’s necessary. I saw a lot of girls not looking very fly… really?! In Vegas? Come on now ladies!!
We were on guestlist and there was no line up at all. Walked right in at 11:30pm and the club was fairly packed. All the tables were filled. We walked around a bit, went outside and then immediately came back in. It was way too hot out there. I couldn’t imagine having an outside table for the night.
I walked around with Tanya for a bit and we met three guys from Miami with a table and they invited us to have a drink with them. We told them that we were with a big group of girls and they said the more the merrier. Anyway, one drink turned into five bottles of goose. The music was good mostly EDM and our location was perfect. The table was across and a few booths to the right of the entrance. I’ve never liked being in a booth by the dancefloor. It’s so busy and there are usually a lot of drunk stumblers that think they can dance that fall all over the place. Hate that shit. That’s just me though. We ended up leaving at around 4. I gave my number to the boys so we could hook up again sometime. They were sweet and fun.
