  • Must eats while in town?

Im there for about 3 days. I love trying new food places that I dont have at home when ever I visit anywhere. With that said the things I know I want to try while in Vegas is Heart attack Grill (just to say I did), Burger Bar, the pizza place at cosmo (where ill be staying), and earls sandwiches? I don't think ill really have time for much more on my trip or the room in the belly but is there anything anyone else would say is a MUST have?

You must try In & Out Burger if you haven't ever. Common on the West Coast, but genenrally unheard of back East.

    Fantastic Fries.

The one on Sahara, just West of I-15 is good.

This, simply so you can contribute to the In & Out vs. Five Guys debate.

Also, Ellis Island just for the 7.99 steak and beer deal.

Pink's in Planet Hollywood has some of the best hot dogs ever. Even if you're not that into hot dogs, you'll find something amazing.
        I just don't give a shit.

Not sure what your budget/preference is like but:

              1. In n Out for some west coast flavor (suggested by laidback above as well) (cheap)
              2. Comme Ca at Cosmopolitan. Get a table on the patio. Beautiful view while eating dinner (somewhat pricey)
              3. Stripsteak at Mandalay Bay. Most of Michael Mina's restaurants (i think) are on the west coast. Stripsteak has a mean steak and is worth trying imho. (very pricey)

I'm originally from LA and love my In N Out. Its always the first stop after landing at LAX. Being that Five Guys is from the DMV I will admit I'm partial to Five Guys as well but both put up a good fight. I don't care for hot dogs I always go to Pinkys in Hollywood so the rest feel sub par to me.

Earl of Sandwich is only good because its cheap, open late and easy (Compared to most of the strip) I wouldn't go out of my way. Its on par with Quiznos.

Breakfast wise. DO PEPPERMILL! (its down by Strat) Don't think about it. Grap a cab and go.
Consider: Hash House a-go-go (Closest would be IP). Some love it. Some don't...Most at least say its pretty good. I am on the Pretty good level.
Those are the only I'd go out of my way for off the top of my head. Not that these are the only good places. There are 100s of others.

Lunch... Ah man. Ill mention a couple of my favorite for Mexican. Its LV strip mexican.
Border Grill (good coupons on restaurants.com)
                    Dos Caminos

Dinner. Hell there are a million places. I try to something I've never had everytime I go.
