It's not bad, nice tub with a view, but still prefer a nicer room like Cosmo. Tub not worth the price imo.

Yup. Stayed in one for Halloween 2010. It's pretty nice for the price I paid...(I think it was about $120/night).
The wet bar and refrigerator was a nice to have.

See my profile for a couple of pics of the room.

Didn't use the tub though....took toooo long to fill up!!

I just booked two nights for just under $400 w/ my players club discount. Saved $100 or so. Will give my thoughts on the suite...

Looking forward to your review Bababooey....never stayed at MC but will probably snatch up a comped suite for our next trip.
Photos look a little dated compared to Aria (duh) but don't really care as long as they're in good shape and are big enough to
pregame with 6 or so people. You going to try a sandwich?

No point in trying the sandwich, since I'm getting the suite I want. This is my third time staying at mc; I've tried the sandwich before. A $20 got me a high floor room with a view.

What dates are you going? From time to time, MC has these suite promos that might end up cheaper than with your mlife discount. If your offers are like mine, they're never worth booking.

However, I just called in and apparently I have a bunch of comp nights at Aria, so if you booked online, it might be better just to call in to see if there are any better options.

I called Monte Carlo yesterday...they transfered me to a host who offered me $100 lower rate per room for (2) deluxe rooms than what the mLife website was showing. Mirage host offered 3 comped nights when I hadn't received an offer from Mirage. I always call...and always get a better rate than what the website shows.

I'm checking in tomorrow... already booked it... I wasn't able to log into mlife, so I called to book it. Got 10% off the price. Doubt I would have had any offers for suites in my mlife account.

I just got back from MC this weekend. I actually loved the hotel, setup downstairs was great with food court right off the elevators and all the restaurants surrounding the casino floor. Beds were comfy, $40 sandwich didn't work for me for upgrading from strip view to a suite although the lady did try. Only real dissapointment was I ordered the wagyu steak from Brand and it was tough, by the time I could get the waiter back over my wife was done eating and he rushed off without asking me what I wanted to do. He comes back telling me a new steak will be out in a few minutes. I responded with "No thanks, I prefer not to eat alone" They removed it from the bill, but was a little dissapointed the manager didnt even attempt to do anything else. If I was in his position I would have offered my wife desert and another glass of wine on the house so that I would stay and eat and be satisfied with the restaurant. Instead they just remove it from the bill and let us go with a "So sorry about that sir". NEVER AGAIN will I eat there.

Even with that experience I still loved the hotel for the beds, casino layout, and the proximity to center of the strip.

Dragon Noodle is the only spot worth eating there.

Hours before checking out, I noticed a pretty big butterfly-esque insect in my suite. Pretty sure it's his home.

The casino lost one of my bags. There was nothing important in it, thankfully. Just some munchies and crap. It took forever, but they ended up giving me $50 dining credit (which I used on room service.) I was hoping they would have made my room free, or something sweet like that.

This was my third time staying at Monte Carlo, and it will be my last. Time to get around more. Too bad Hard Rock isn't doing their Twitter Tuesday deals anymore, I woulda jumped on that.

I was just calling to book my rooms at MC for my next trip...this gives me pause...so did the Bell Desk lose the bag? How did they know if wasn't full of gold bars?

I have comped rooms elsewhere but we're leaning towards MC since we'll be able to get our friends much lower rates there and we want them to have maximum spending funds.

Are you switching properties more for a change of scenery or was the experience that bad?

You have had good experiences there tho right Chuck? Or are you staying there strictly on the deal you can get your friends? I am leaning towards there myself because it seemed like a pretty good casino and hotel. Cant speak on their customer service however.
