    So this morning i was checking my statement...
    Saw a debit of $468.00!

    After several call, my bank identified Mirage as the culprit. Having hab my card debited for one night back in Feb, i was a bit pissed to find out it was the hotel.

    so called up Mirage, seing i live in Australia it isnt very convienient.. after being on the phone for 20 mins i am finally told its a 'computer glitch'

    how does a computer glitch debit my card 4 months later??

    so i wait another 20 mins while a manager refunds my money...

    Phone just cuts out.

    i really dont have time to call back during work again, so someone is going to cop some abuse tonight!!!

    I would get your bank involved in this one ASAP. I had a bad situation upon checking out once too, but it was fixed within 2 days. Not sure how that would work after months. When I was checking out they comped 300 of my stay. The girl behind the counter said it will be credited bank to your account in a few days. Instead of crediting me back 300 she does 1300. So instead of voiding it she debits my card the 1000 that she screwed up on. Leaving Vegas after 5 days I was lucky to have 1100 in there. NOW i have 100 for the next day of traveling. Food, taxi, airport parking, and gas to drive from Milwaukee to Green Bay. Luckily my bank stepped in and put a hold on that debit and allowed me those funds until the hotel fixed shit. Girl behind the counter literally said "sorry we cant fix it now"

      I didnt mean to hijack your post. I know it's a shitty feeling, just letting you know that it will fix itself in a day or two depending on your bank.

        my trip is actually in October so i hope to have it resolved by then. Its just a pain with the time difference here in Austalia but they will be hearing about this and wont be wiping their hand clean from this one.

          Send them a strongly worded e-mail and let them know what an inconvenience that has been.
          Hopefully it will manifest itself into something extra for your upcoming trip.

            Nah not at all mate! I would be more pissed if i was in your position. Its just a huge inconvienience being on the other side of the world to try and fix it. Worst thing being i wanted to cancel that card. so now i have to wait til this gets sorted out.

            I worte them an email along with the call i made, hopefully this can benefit me in some way
