So you can charge meals and drinks to your room? Is that only for the stuff in the hotel you're staying at or is that good for all MGM properties?

Usually if you're staying at Mirage, and eat over at Bellagio, for example, the check will have all of the MGM hotels listed. So you indicate which hotel you're staying at and charge away. This may vary a little, but I've seen it at places I've been.

Like all great travelers, I've seen more than I remember, and remember more than I have seen.

I know it works among the MGM properties and among the Caesar's properties. When the server brings your check, just tell them you're staying at XXXX and you'd like to charge it to your room. You'll be told if it the place can't do that.

I am curious if the partnership between SBE and M life will result in getting points for buying bottles at Hyde. Chuck, didn't you post something awhile back with details on that?

Yeah...if you go to mlife.com and look for the partners section you'll find SBE. Basically you automatically qualify for the SBE PREFERED loyalty member. You get:

10% discount at sbe Restaurant & Nightlife Venues (excluding Hyde Lounge Staples Center)
Special rates at sbe Hotels: SLS Hotel at Beverly Hills, The Redbury Hollywood and Four Points by Sheraton LAX
20% Discount at Ciel Spa (located within SLS Hotel at Beverly Hills)
15% Bonus on sbe Gift Card purchases
            Preferred Reservations at sbe venues
Discounts on Special Events & Catering
Receive exclusive PREFERRED Partner monthly newsletters, offers and invitations

I enrolled a few months ago but never received my SBE card....going to try again...not sure if bottles count towards mLife points though.

The ONLY problem I have with M-Life is their website works like one day a week!

I called mLife the other day to ask about my spending for the meeting I'm planning earning points. I'm booking all of the rooms except mine through convention services. All of the catering will just be charged to my room. mLife said as long as I tell convention services to link the room block expenses to my mLife account then it will earn points. Should rack up over 175,000 tier credits for this little shindig....and the attendees are paying their own way. That would rocket me to Platinum in one trip while spending very little of my own money. Gotta like that.

It is 25 tier credits per dollar spent including hotel costs IF it is booked through M-LIfe services. I double checked this today to make sure.

Actually Chuck booking that annually will keep you at platinum, but your personal trips could get you to next level. Lets get greedy here!

Will be interesting to see how the room offers differ. Platinum status does carry some nice perks outside of room offers.
Does seem a little crazy that you've got to be Noir before they'll hook you up with a limo from the airport. I guess some of the
                              perks probably vary by property.

Yeah it will be awesome you. The airport pickups will be a nice little addition to your trips. I was happy with the separate check in/out line that gold got me.
