it's very easy to bump up a tier or two with Mlife. Aside from gaming, I believe you get 25 tier pts for every dollar you spend on your rooms, restaurants, bar tabs, etc. That adds up fast!

Yeah it only took us two trips to get to the top of Pearl. Next trip will be well into Gold easy and we only average about $2K or so of action each trip...depending on how much we win of course.

Interesting thread....is M Life only good for vegas?

There are casinos in Chicago, Detroit, and Tunica that use m-life. Those are ones I am sure of and there could be others.

Chuck, you start earning tier points faster at that point too. I believe it drops from 10 tier points/$2 coin in to 10 tier points/$1.75 coin in. Might not sound like a lot but it helps.

Has anyone ever checked in using a comp the n let a friend stay in the room? We have multiple offers for comped rooms at different places. I think as long as the mLife member who earned the comp checks in they'd have no way to know someone else was using the room...

Checked in at Monte Carlo, friend stayed there. Then I checked in at Cosmo for my own room. But I end up playing at Aria/MC anyway. doesnt matter.

How does getting points for purchases work? Do you just present your m-life card and they give you points for it? Say you spend $1000 on a room for a trip, how many points will you get?

I'm not sure if your room expense actually counts....but....I always book through mLife using my account.
Then my room reservation is "tied" to my account. I then charge EVERYTHING to the room (room service, restaurants, drinks at the pool, etc.) All that money spent accumulates points. I'm guessing the room itself doesn't count....but maybe.

It is 25 tier credits per dollar spent including hotel costs IF it is booked through M-LIfe services. I double checked this today to make sure.

So I'm probably going to be hosting a small conference on my next trip. Trying to get convention services to book things using my mLife account. If I can then will probably be Platinum after one trip and not spend any of my own money. Will let you know if this works...

Just so everyone knows, that information came directly from the Bellagio's M-Life services office. Just thought I would share that so nobody curses me out if it doesn't work for some crazy reason.

Chuck - you should be good on getting all those points for your conference spend. It seems like everything counts as long as your mLife account is made known to whoever you are booking/paying for stuff through. I put cabana tabs on my credit card instead of charging it to my room and still got the mLife points.
I'm kicking myself for forgetting present my mLife card when paying for dinners - wasn't thinking straight after all the day drinking that went on!

I asked Conference sales about comping a room for my mLife status. They directed me to the "casino" side. Not sure if that's a bad thing or not....more to come.
