Most successful upgrades at Cosmo

We have a Terrace Studio booked and I was planning to tip sandwich for late checkout/view/etc. Is there another specific room that I should ask for an upgrade to with 2 queen beds (or enough sleeping area for 3-4 people)? Sounds like a Wraparound is an easy enough upgrade, but it's a King bed with pull out or something? Thanks all!!

The wraparounds do not have a pullout, some one bedrooms have a pull out sofa, but your best bet is getting a terrace studio with 2 queen beds which they have. I would call the hotel directly to see what the cost is to upgrade to one of these, it shouldn't be much at all since its in the same room tier as what you already have.

That's what we already have booked. I will see what I can do in regard to making sure we are high floor. Flight departs in 6 hours and I can't fall asleep!!

Made it, did it, crushed it, got home last night.

Also, $30 got us upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite (which does have a pull out couch) on 20th floor with 9:30 am check-in.

And I was thinking a $50 but thats good to know...we've got 2 queens in a City and the only value of an upgrade for me would be Terrace With 2 queens and I get access to the balconcy, emptied Fridge, and gym passes...that would be worth the $50 and upgrade effort....stay tuned.

We've got exactly the same situation at the end of August and definitely don't want to end up with a pull out.

We are in the exact same situation. Basically the only reason for tipping would be for a fountain view and a high floor, correct?

I would still do a small sandwich and just make it clear that you need 2 beds. I was in the same boat and the 1 bedroom suite with the pullout couch was actually priceless for pregaming in the huge living room, despite the lack of a second "actual" bed. Also having the true bedroom seperate is good for privacy's sake.

our sammich worked perfectly! we got upgraded from a city view to a terrace with 2 quuen beds on the 46th floor overlooking Bellagio fountains...it got lots of use more on that n the TR. We also got our spa fitness bill removed....it was a great sammich...

WARNING that little space open in the bottom of the fridge is a damn freezer...it kept freezing shit! woks as designed huh

Our sandwich failed miserably, I think got a pretty new employee that's why. Tried to sandwich for a terrace wrap around, did a $100 sandwich but he said he couldn't give free upgrades. Ended up with 2 high floors and a room with a view though. Gave him $10 for the help anyways.

$40 sandwich got me switched from a 2 queen standard city room, to a 1 bedroom terrace suite on the 65th floor overlooking Marquee Day Club this past weekend. A nice young clerk named Sarah helped me out.

Tried $40, the clerk hesitated for a second as if he wasn't going to do it, then asked if a terrace studio with a King bed would work (no two-queen studios available, I guess). I was with my brother and we needed two beds, so I just asked if we could get a high floor. He put us on the 56th floor, fountain view.

Weird thing happened though: he didn't place the $150/night hold for incidentals. He didn't bring it up, and I definitely wasn't going to say anything. I checked my account multiple times over the stay and nothing ever showed up. Not sure what that was all about. Maybe he was just doing me a solid, or something.
