Just wondering if anyone has some crazy stories from their experiences at check-in on anything bigger than a wraparound.

I think the next level up is their Lanai suites which I'm guessing require 'status' to get upgraded to. Or $$$$$I still remain "the best kept secret"

You can book the Lanai suites on the Cosmo website, and you couldn't before...I'm thinking it might actually be possible to upgrade if you booked a wraparound b/c it would be the next category up.Originally posted by cm4short View PostI think the next level up is their Lanai suites which I'm guessing require 'status' to get upgraded to. Booked a terrace suite and was upgraded to some one bedroom suite that isn't on the website. It had 5-6 different floor-to-ceiling windows but no terrace. The guy at check in said it was over 2,000 sq ft but a lot of it was wasted on a hallway connecting the living room and the bedroom. Also had a smaller room next to the entrance with a desk and extra drawers. It's larger than the wraparound but I preferred the wraparound better, for the terrace and extra bathroom.50+ trips in the last 3 years =]

I stayed in a room that looked exactly like that. I think it was about halfway up the west tower. Except mine had two bedrooms (one room had two queens, the other was a master with a king). The living room looked exactly the same as the one in the picture. There were three bathrooms total. And yeah, a lot of wasted space with hallways and such.Originally posted by vegas23 View Post
holy balls lol, what floor was that on im curious too. now i wouldnt mind slipping more than a $20 at check-in for that even if its one bed.
I thought that was the best hotel room I'd ever stayed until I spent a weekend in one of the Penthouse suites a few months later. That was on the second-to-top floor in the west tower.
As for those high floors and what they do with them, word is Bill Gates owns a condo on top of Cosmo.

sounds awesome IRockNvegas. How did you get this deal? It's easy to slip a 20 between cards as thats somewhat reasonable, but unsure of how to approach this type of upgrade.
We're staying there next week for 3nights and would be awesome to get the deal as well. Any tips or advice would be great. Thanks!
