Just wondering if anyone has some crazy stories from their experiences at check-in on anything bigger than a wraparound.

I think the next level up is their Lanai suites which I'm guessing require 'status' to get upgraded to. Or $$$$$

You can book the Lanai suites on the Cosmo website, and you couldn't before...I'm thinking it might actually be possible to upgrade if you booked a wraparound b/c it would be the next category up.

Booked a terrace suite and was upgraded to some one bedroom suite that isn't on the website. It had 5-6 different floor-to-ceiling windows but no terrace. The guy at check in said it was over 2,000 sq ft but a lot of it was wasted on a hallway connecting the living room and the bedroom. Also had a smaller room next to the entrance with a desk and extra drawers. It's larger than the wraparound but I preferred the wraparound better, for the terrace and extra bathroom.

Thanks for sharing the info and pics. Looks like the room is located on an upper floor. What floor was the room on?

ya looks like alot of wasted space on hallways and such. It looks like its one of the units designed for a condo living space.

^^^ I believe that suite is the "Reception Suite". Who knows what exactly the cosmo has up its sleeve. I asked a bell hop guy one time whats on floors 72-75 and he said they were unfinished floors with nothing in them, being saved for some whole floor super suite or somehting.

I stayed in a room that looked exactly like that. I think it was about halfway up the west tower. Except mine had two bedrooms (one room had two queens, the other was a master with a king). The living room looked exactly the same as the one in the picture. There were three bathrooms total. And yeah, a lot of wasted space with hallways and such.

I thought that was the best hotel room I'd ever stayed until I spent a weekend in one of the Penthouse suites a few months later. That was on the second-to-top floor in the west tower.

As for those high floors and what they do with them, word is Bill Gates owns a condo on top of Cosmo.

400 handshake to land spa passes and a upgrade to a 2 bedroom ph suite at aria for 3 nights. We were happy with it.

sounds awesome IRockNvegas. How did you get this deal? It's easy to slip a 20 between cards as thats somewhat reasonable, but unsure of how to approach this type of upgrade.

We're staying there next week for 3nights and would be awesome to get the deal as well. Any tips or advice would be great. Thanks!
