I was upgraded to gold and plan on trying to see with a $20 grease if I can be upgraded from a 1BDR to a 2BDR suite during this years MayInvasion.

Note, I had to log into my hilton honors account, change my location to Russia and use code 411945. I left my address the same, just changed the country. About 5 minutes later I checked my account and it went from Blue to Gold.

After it works, do you know if we need to keep our address as Russia? Will they send out a Gold card?

As soon as it changes to gold you can change your address back to the US and some folks say it took them 2 weeks to a month to get their card.

I have a reservation in March for PH Towers. I read that they're no longer going to be a Hilton Property...does anyone know if this Gold will help with upgrades anyway?

Edit - I guess they are becoming a property in March, my mistake!

I created a new account, and for some reason it assigned me Gold status, so I didnt need to do this. hmm

Since its part of Hilton Grand Vacations, you can't get all of the perks of standard gold membership. Such as room upgrade and complimentary breakfast.
