Essentially, if you don't mind...loud music all night... then this is the place for you.

I booked through PH Towers a month ago when they had the free upgrade to the 1 bedroom. Will this still be honored? Or will I be placed in the junior suite?

Slickdeals has a thread going on right now about being upgraded to Hilton Honors Gold.

I was upgraded to gold and plan on trying to see with a $20 grease if I can be upgraded from a 1BDR to a 2BDR suite during this years MayInvasion.

Note, I had to log into my hilton honors account, change my location to Russia and use code 411945. I left my address the same, just changed the country. About 5 minutes later I checked my account and it went from Blue to Gold.

I did the same thing so I called two days ago to confirm. I was sure to ask "So this is the room with the tub in the bedroom and the projector in the living room... right???"

They said yes, and didn't appear to even have it in their records that I booked the studio and got an upgrade. They just confirmed that I had the one bedroom suite.

i still don't have a confirmation # that matches with the Hilton Reservation system. Did they give you one of those? (if i try to view my record on hilton.com, it says no such reservation exists; however, the front desk at Elara does have my info).

Edit - just called again and they said Hilton Honors points would be entered manually and could take up to 3 weeks after checkout.

I didn't ask for a confirmation number so I have no idea. I'll call them back later.

Regarding the HHonors points... they told you that they'd give them to you? When I called they weren't sure. Who did you originally book through. I think I'm going to run into a problem trying to get my points since I booked with Expedia.

I booked through PHTowers.com (before they transitioned over to Hilton). I would just mention to the front desk that you are a Hilton Honors member just in case.

Yeah they told me specifically that I would be given the points but it would take awhile because they were handling all that stuff manually
