happened to me as well last time after returning from Vegas. There were 3 cash withdrawals from LA. Credit card company took care of it. The only place that I remember using that particular card was at the Mirage.Originally posted by ChiTownChik View PostMy hubby had charges from L.A. during our last stay in Vegas, very weird and the purchases had nothing to do with Nightlife. Thankfully our cc company was quick in catching it and resolving it. I've always been weary of using my card in clubs/bars so I always settle up in cash even if that means I have to pay up front.Originally posted by redbullvodka View Postbtw, separate subject, has anyone had ID theft from using a credit card in vegas? happened to me 2 times already. last time my cc company called me about charges in georgia and chicago at the same time i was in vegas.

Nooooooooooo!!!! They doubled the priceOriginally posted by ChiTownChik View PostThey had $1 Margaritas for a while at Bills but they are $2 now and $2 Dos Equis. They still have them at Casino Royale for $1 but those aren't as strong as the ones at Bills IMO.
well, still $2 is quite cheap when you think about it!
Like ChiTownChik said, at Bill's they're good! Strong!Originally posted by VegasCherry View Post
Is there a specific place you go for good ones? I need my budget to be closer to your budget.
there's also that place (maybe inside Bill's or in another hotel nearby) called Tequila Bar where you can have cheap ones and also cheap tortillas!

Its no wonder I always have a fantastic time in Vegas. Im always hanging out with ya'll people with the money. I go to Vegas often and after the flight and hotel I realistically probably spend about $150 per day. I always have a grand old time and find all the fun party people, often times those people are the ones with the bottles. Yes I am that girl. And yes it is nice to be a girl in Vegas. My upcoming trip to Vegas I am "going big" haha and budgeting about $300 per day. Watch out world haha.
On the CC note, I did have my information stolen once in Vegas and the company was quick to fix that and take it off of my account. This is also why I never use my debit card when I travel out of town any more. The bank isnt as willing to give you your money back but Credit Card Companies usually take care of that stuff very quickly.Up Next:

Nah, we got lap dances together and paid cash!Originally posted by Buzzo View PostYou sure your boyfriends and hubbies weren't getting lap dances at the Strip club? Then when you checked they were like I don't know know where that charge came from!!!!
The strib clubs like to "mask" the transactions on the statements!!!!

I heard from one of the front desk people ID theft happens a lot in vegas. I still use cc for dinners, shopping, one time bar purchases. I just use a separate card than the one i use normally.Originally posted by ChiTownChik View PostMy hubby had charges from L.A. during our last stay in Vegas, very weird and the purchases had nothing to do with Nightlife. Ha!!! I actually did this 2 nights in a row last year. Nuggets.. I stayed 2 nights at excalibur before my stay at aria and there's nothing else open in that hotel after going out to the clubs.Originally posted by BigDex14 View PostI'm so burned out of the McD's when I'm in Vegas! Too many 50pc nuggets hahaOriginally posted by olskoolblue View PostI usually try to budget $150 a day knowing some days may be more and some may be less. That requires a lot of pregaming and McDonalds $1 spicy chicken. I may splurge and get a fatburger 1 day. We usually pick 1 day for bottle service and have a few guys make the line early. I don't gamble and try not to shop. I'm a firm believer in being able to have a good time without spending too much. Obviously "too much " varies from person to person but i've managed to make it work for the last couple of years.** Lifestyle Entrepreneur

Depends on the length of the trip obviously but mine isOriginally posted by WarreN View PostWe've been discussing this on the chat today.
So here it is. What is YOUR typical Vegas budget?
I'm especially interested in foreigners because I know some of them save for like a whole year and then go buck wild!
My usual budget from Cali is around $1500-$2k after Hotel/Airfare/Gas.
Flight + Hotel - 500-700
Gambling- $1K (have never lost this much in Vegas but did in New Orleans once)
Club Cover - $100 - 200 (most friends too cheap for bottles)
Food - don't really keep track
The most I've spent is probably around $1500. Moving from Cali to Atl really hurts with the airfare vs gas
If I had friends down for BS in theory I would use some of the gambling money towards bottles but in reality my budget would probably go up another 750-1KLast edited by not a vet but no rookie; 05-04-2011, 04:57 PM.2016 (past) - none

About $700-1000 for a 3night stay from LA, CA. We usually Spend $20-$30 on one decent meal(usually one of those $15-$20 a plate Mexican restaurants or a $20-$30Steakhouse) and the rest of our funds go to the Hotel, 1-2Bottle Service/s. We always have a few hundred left now that I think about it. We usually get on GL's, get in line early or charm ladies to group up to take advantage of the GL. We drink alot in the rooms, not because we neccessarly want to save a buck but because its fun getting ready, drinking and talking smack. I say the bulk of our funds goes to MGM Signature or Aria then we spend on average $150 a day that goes towards pool/club entrances, 1 meal, maybe 3-4drinks and ENERGY Drinks! Our schedule basically goes DRINK>Pool>snack>NAP>Drink>CLUB>Sleep>FULL MEAL> then do it all over again Drink>Pool> etc, etc.
Vegas can be very cheap, especially if you plan ahead and get ur info straighted out!
