Omnia--Great for GA!

Just wanted to share my recent experience at Omnia. I went on a Saturday, and while it was VERY crowded, I still had a great experience. The main room is huge, you can step out on the terrace for a great view if you need a break, and security was friendly and very helpful when I asked them where I could stand to watch. Great experience and I highly recommend it for people asking about good GA spots!

don't believe this non-sense

Omnia is the 2nd most awful GA place for ANY nightclub in vegas. Only hakkasan is worse than Omnia

Stood in the general admission line at 9:33 tonight, club was scheduled to open at 10, opened at 10:20. They told us to go upstairs and we were there and it started drizzling, you can't sit on the ledge, when you do you get bouncers telling you or better say, showing you with their finger to get up...if I can't sit, my feet were killing me.

We started to walk around and realized there were no places to sit unless you were in the ViP boxes. I know people don't go to a club to sit but sometimes we need to sit for a while and enjoy our drinks, didn't happen. We got to the bar and of course vegas drinks are ridiculously expensive, we paid $44 bucks for a Redbull Vodka and a Sex on the beach. There was hardly any liquor and the bartenders weren't to friendly.

This club does not allow any type of free sitting, no matter what. I suppose it's ok but my friends were not impressed. I agree, but I guess they want to force you into purchasing a table or get moving.

The security inside were always flashing lights and trying to bust people for something, like everyone was a suspect or a threat.
We tried to get onto the dance floor since there was nowhere to sit.

service here was deplorable.
Staff constantly comes around to tell people to stand up when people are sitting or leaning on ledges in the outside terrace section. The girls I was with said their feet hurt and needed just 5 minutes to rest, but the staff told them they have to get up that it's policy and said it in an aggressive tone... no remorse.

The club itself is beautiful. My rating is strictly on how we were treated by the staff. I get it, these Vegas clubs take it serious..

MY FOUR out of FIVE trips to Omnia CONFIRMS these negative reviews.

This photo, as you can see, people were packed like sardines. Nobody really having "fun". After the "oh wow that's some cool aesthetics" the fun factor usually ends



Even staff wasn't very happy(seems like he hated his job). Also notice the sausagefest (6:1 guy/girl ratio)



all of the cute girls propogated to table/bottle service. While I was stuck in the GA area in a complete sausagefest

this was taken at 9:50 pm. Line is ridiculous. Pre-sale/bottle service people get preferential treatment, every1 else is treated like a peasant. (no surprises since all clubs are like this, except Omnia's line is the most chaotic out of all the clubs. A girl told me she had to wait 2 hours and 15 mins to get in from the GA line. LOL GA friendly eh?



All of the girls are hang out w/ the guys who purchased a $4000 table. Yet, i'm stuck with these peasants(aka sausagefest) or peasant row trying to get the "scraps"(6:1 guy/girl ratio)



because there's no re-entry and a very strict no sit policy. This guy was carried off a stretcher. Poor guy, maybe if he had a place to sit, this wouldn't have happened?



still think omnia is GA friendly? don't make me laugh LOL

Wynncore, I created this thread just for you. Spill all the Omnia venom you want here, that way it doesn't hijack every other thread on these forums. I think we have now covered the fact that Omnia sucks because of the following reasons:

1. There is nowhere to sit without having a table. Oh the humanity!
2. Girls get treated way better than guys at clubs. I think you should file a formal complaint.
3. Omnia has no re-entry and it causes near death experiences. I am shocked they didn't close the place down, lucky they got that guy medical attention.
4. Omnia has long entry lines. Truly shocking the newest club on Vegas is experiencing long lines, preach on!
5. You are a peasant. I can't help you here.
6. All the girls flock to tables leaving you with no one to take back to Circus Circus. This ain't all bad, saves you the embarrassment of the girl bailing on you when you tell the cab driver where you are headed.

Now I believe you left off somewhere around the part where you tell us the lines at the bar are too long and the drinks are too expensive. Please get on with the show, we are anxiously awaiting further detail.

Here's the thing: you're bitching about things that are generally true throughout the clubs in Vegas and many other places. It's nice that XS has walls outside that you can sit on and that's part of why it is quite GA friendly, but no club wants people randomly sitting in tables they're trying to sell. Girls (at least attractive ones) do get treated better than guys by the clubs, but they're more essential to the nightclub business than Joe random-GA-ticket-buyer since they help drive both male ticket sales and table sales.

even if what you said is true

then why don't i have these problems in Surrender/XS/Marquee/Drais/EDC/MDC/EBC??

XS/Marquee/Drais

1. has re-entry
2. GA friendly
3. tons of places to sit
4. there's hardly any peasant/table status gap
5. sausagefest isn't as bad
6. a combinatio of the above

all i see are females

MEANWHILE in OMnia. Poor guy carried off stretcher(i saw him prior to him beingcarried off, bouncers were scolding him to "get up" bcuz "u can't sit there" apparently one of his female friends told me that they cant' give him free water unless he spends $10 on a small fiji water. Whereas in Marquee they have free water canister right by the pool bar
