I don't think Omnia is GA-friendly at all.

The terrace is nice. You can actually sit in the hip-hop room if you know where to look.

But the main room was like a freeway-turned-parking lot in rush hour traffic. Impossible to move. If you could move, it was slowly, and people just crashed into you.

to be honest, Omnia is a great club(i went there FIVE times this year. So there has to be a reason why i keep going back despite me ABSOLUTELY HATING their General admission treatment). On a positive note

        1. hottest girls usually go here
        2. well rounded if you know where to go [/B](hip hop room, outdoor terrace, big dance floor)
        3. Aesthetic (probably the most beautiful club in vegas(moving chandelier, everything is colorful/great quality)
        4. lots of restrooms
        5. if you purchase a table for the night, you will definitely have a blast.
        6. DJs are legit (calvin harris/Afrojack/etc)

If it weren't for these 6 reasons, i would NEVER EVER go to Omnia

I will pick Omnia over XS/Surrender/Marquee/Hakkasan ANYDAY if i get a table.

if only Omnia had re-entry, free water(instead of charging $10 for that small ass fiji water), places to sit for GA, tell their staff to stop hassling/be more professional over trivial bullshit etc. It would honestly be the best overall club.

Sadly, they are strict nazis with their dumb policies, and to me that's a dealbreaker if i happen to be GA. I'de rather go to XS/Marquee/Drais/Surrender for GA

        tld;dlr kewl story bro... cliffz

-omnia is great if you have a table
        -Sucks if you don't

Welcome to the forums Wynncore. This was the most well together post you have thrown out so far and most of it makes sense. While my experience is quite a bit different then yours, at least you explained yourself better this time without attacking people. Approach your future posts this way and while people may disagree, at least things don't turn ugly. I honestly expected a "see, everyone agrees with me" post!

Seriously though. As entertaining as recent threads have been lately (and they have been VERY entertaining to say the least), i HOPE that we can get past all the bullshit that's been transpiring as of late. I'm always down for a laugh etc. but end of the day regardless of how unintentionally funny shit has been, whether or not the turn in recent threads has been actually HELPFUL is highly unlikely. I'm not calling anybody out, i'm not even being vaguely insulting so i hope i don't get some fire and brimstone response that starts all of this up again. Now if somehow this measured ass approach ends up turning into another back and forth i give up and fuck it, as they say back to business as usual i suppose.

Yup, it's been fun, but moving on. This crap clogs up the boards and makes the good info harder to find. Frankly if this thread needs to go away altogether, one of the mods can wipe it, I just started it to pull us outta the other random threads that were getting blown up. But I think its over now, al least I hope!

Just sat down at Omnia and security walked right by me. Maybe it's just Wynncore they have a problem with.

Of course Wynncore is a miscer. Could have guessed from your posting without seeing the shirt.

lol I think everyone is giving this dude an unfair shake. I think he's ultimately right about Omnia not being GA friendly. But his way of "proving" his point is laughable.

Anyways. I've never done GA at Omnia, but from the 'peasant' walks from my table to the bathrooms, I never would either. It's overly crowded, and mostly guys in the GA crowd. But that's just the nature of any hot club.

Hot clubs attract high rollers. High rollers attract the ladies to their tables. That's just a fact anywhere in the world.

It's even easier to understand if you look at it on a business level. There is SO MUCH more cash to be made from tables. Think about the profit margin of a $10k+ bill at a table.. when a bottle is sold at nearly $1K, that's a general markup of 2500%. Whereas at the bar, the avg drink of $20 with 1.5 oz of alcohol would eventually give them a margin of one third of the bottle service. That means they would need to sell 1,500 drinks to match one DF table bill. Keep in mind that Omnia has over 150 tables of which around 40 are on the main floor. You can do the math. Would you operate any differently?

The above is overly simplified, granted. But gives a general understanding as to why the hot clubs operate the way they do for the relatively short period of time that they're hot.

It's all a cost vs benefit analysis Wynncore.

All of the things you posted about (no sitting, no re entry, no free water, security, etc) are all costs of going to Omnia.

In my mind those are very small and almost negligible costs. I place very little value on those things to begin with.

However, The BENEFIT of having the hottest girls, great layout to move (even though it gets crowded), terrace to walk outside, awesome lights, and great dj's EASILY outweighs those costs mentioned above. And it's not really close.

But everyone can perform their own analysis and decide where they want to go.

We did Presale at Omnia Saturday Night for Martin Garrix. We arrived early around 10:40, the linw was long but only took about 5 minutes to get into club. We found a space on the left side of the club where the bouncers let you sit along the wall. Also there was a platform for the dancers that the let you stand at as well. The only time they made us move was when the dancers was actually dancing on that platform. It gave a great vantage point to see the main stage. This area was behind table 22.
