  • which clubs should we make sure to hit next time?

My friend and I were just in Vegas a few weeks ago for my 21st and we're already planning our next visit. I got a good deal on a room at the Flamingo so we're looking to go in December.

Last time we were there, we went to Marquee, and my friend fucking hated it (though i loved it). She felt there were too many "sleazy guys in suits" hitting on her. Fair enough. We were supposed to go to Tryst or XS night 2 (we were guestlisted at both) but ended up getting too tired to go because we used up all our energy the first night so just went to a hookah bar off-strip. Which clubs should we hit next time? I definitely would like to hit XS or Tryst, but night 2 is still a question - where should we go? Definitely somewhere that guestlists!

Definitely XS and Omnia. I'd try to do XS on a Sunday when they're having a night swim. Keep in mind, many have said Omnia isn't GA friendly. I had a decent time going GA, but it was a Tuesday. I'm sure on the prime nights (Fri and Sat) GA is a shit show.

pardon my ignorance but what does GA mean

          GA=General Admission

And Omnia being unfriendly for GA depends on what you mean. If you mean waiting in the GA or guest list line, then yes, its not GA friendly, the lines are ridiculous . However on a Saturday about a week and a half ago I thought the crowd inside was manageable, and there were plenty of good spots for GA folks to hang.

trust me, Omnia is NOT GA friendly especially if you are a guy

              1. VERY strict no-sit policy. The only place where you can sit is the outskirts of the dancefloor area(first floor) and that's only IF you are a girl

              2. if you have no table, have fun standing/walking around the whole night and security scolding you to "not to sit there" or "you can't sit here" "you can't go here" "you can't do that". The uncomfortableness adds up over time

              3. no re-entry so you CANNOT walk out the club and rest up or gamble, or grab a seat at the slot machine.

Hakkasan/Omnia are by far the worst for GA. they treat GA people like peasants. Then again, everyone is different. I just happen to be observant and i felt as if I was a peasant when i was GA at omnia.

Omnia is the 2nd worst for GA, only Hakkasan is worse than Omnia

I also had a table there and it's night and day

no it's not, i've been there four times as GA and once w/ a table. It's night/day

i'ms peaking from experience. OMNIA is utter shit if you are GA. Have fun getting treated like a peasant

it's not like XS/Marquee where you can still have a great time w/o a table(xs/marquee is great for roaming AND there are TONS of places to sit and relax w/o paying $3000 for at able).

I'm not saying you "can't" have fun as GA at omnia, all i'm saying is, it's NIGHT and DAY from GA to table. Whereas in XS/Marquee, i can still equally have as much fun and feel as comfortable with or without a table

If your paying $20-30 to get in a nightclub with 5000 other people and you want a place to sit good luck with that.
                  Omnia is HUGE

XS/Drais/Marquee is also pretty big Yet, i equally have as much fun and equally feel as comfortable with or w/o a table at XS(for example) since it's GA friendly(tons of places to sit, great for roaming around, the table/bottle service areas are not ROPED/segregated/etc. It's also not overstaffed so you have less security treating you like a fucking child or asserting their authority all bcuz "u r leaning in at someone's table, MOVE!!" while they flash that stupid flashlight at your face nearly blinding you(hakk/omnia does this annoying shit)

Whereas, table vs GA at Omnia is night/day.

I think the wrong words were in bold. Fixed it for you. Most of the people that are giving advise, are also speaking from experience. Your 1 person out of thousands on this forum that have experience with Vegas clubs. Most people know, and accept, that GA/Presale dont offer seating. Even here in Houston, if you go GA to a nightclub, you probably wont be able to sit down. I just went to a club in San Antonio, and guess what, no where to sit without a table. Its not uncommon for clubs that offer bottle service. Im sure most people wish seating was free, but they accept that is not, just like they accept there going to pay a huge markup for alcohol.

Also, If Im paying thousands for a table, I dont want a stranger "leaning in at my table". Personally, I think people should know better than to invade someones private space like that.

^^This is exactly what I wanted to post. Wynncore, I think your issue is that you have a different expectation of what GA should be from the rest of us. I would never expect to have a similar experience paying $30 cover as those dropping $400-$600 for a table. And yes, if I have a table and you are moving in on my area without being invited, I would ask security to move you along.

Getting back to your original question, XS and Omnia are the clubs you should try to hit when you are in town, but pick the spots that have the best music and vibe for YOU. We all have different tastes and preferences, which is why this forum is a great resource. You get a lot of different opinions.
Yeah I'm the shit...I should have febreeze on me!

actually, i never EVER go to someone's "table", but apparently in certain areas (not known to most club patrons) you cannot be near that area at all.

do you seriously think i go to another person's table and sit there? LOL cmon

except i'm speaking from experience. My experience is BACKED UP by majority of the negative reviews on tripadvisor and yelp. (FOUR GA trips to omnia and 1 table trip to omnia). From that experience, it's NIGHT/day.

Most of the people that are giving advise, are also speaking from experience.
. I didn't go to Omnia feeling this jaded BEFORE, it was only until AFTER my omnia trips (after 5 different occasions) that made me feel this way.

Even if i'm just "one" person, i'm ENTITLED to share MY experiences on here. If you guys do not respect my opinion, then you guys don't have to believe me. But my opinion stands, i'm in no way implying that my opinion is "above" anyone else's. I'm just sharing my experiences. that's all. Whe4ther or not you disagree with is is irrelevant to me since it will NOT change my mind

weird, it must be a shitty club if they tread their non-Table guests as peasants like that. i'm from san diego(but live in SF now). 95% of the clubs i go to here as GA has plenty of seating, and not just bottle service people

Also, If Im paying thousands for a table, I dont want a stranger "leaning in at my table". Personally, I think people should know better than to invade someones private space like that.
"leading" on your "table"? stop twisting my words. I do not "lean" on anyone's taable. It's the outskirts area of the table where i'm absolutely NOT bothering anyone(which is a good 5-6 feet away from the people occupying it.

"invade someone's private space" hahaha cmon man, stop insinuating shit.(i know you are a mod, but i feel as if you are patronizing me just bcuz ure a "mod") I'm just disagreeing with you.

Funny, in marquee/xs for example, i don't get scolded by security, so explain that to me.
