So I've been told.. However, it's never deterred anyone.. I might invest in some insoles next year.. maybe.. Honestly my feet still haven't recovered from May and I really didn't "GA". I do put them on when I need to go to my VIP stall. Don't judge me OMGitsMarcus.

Now people are complaining about not paying for bs and having to stand at a club and not having fun...and people were just complaining before about paying too much to sit down. I'm surprised anyone is having any fun in any of these clubs.

Yep, if I was new to Vegas and reading these threads I would think that Vegas is either extremely expensive or horrible, and it's really just a blast at any price point. People need to learn to have fun or something. I think the key thing is people either under-indulge or over-indulge on alcohol and if you do either of one of those you'll likely end up miserable.

          Because there's no in between

if you go GA, good luck being uncomfortable the whole night and having security to tell you to get up whenever you try to sit soewhere

if you go bottle service, you will most likely complain about how it's too expensive

I live in San Francisco, clubs here don't treat GA as peasants like vegas clubs do...., and they have PLENTY Of seats for GA people just like the VIP/Table service.

          hakkasan/omnia is notorious for this

and people that think it's "easy to keep standing for 5-6 hours" doesn't know wtf they are talking about. I'm speaking from experience

of course it's fun for you. You and your GF go together

i'm a single guy and it's difficult pulling a hottie if you don't have a table, much less any place to isolate. And no, i don't "stick" to the same person the whole night like you, i roam around and hit on hot girls.

like i said, certain clubs are better for GA than others. Hakkasan/Omnia treat GA as peasants. THe yelp/trip advisor reviews BACKUP my claim

People who use the word "isolate" in relation to girls are going to have a bad time no matter where they are.

I was just going to say... Pull and isolate makes you sound like a creepster. I know what you meant.. But yeah.. Hella creepy sounding. And probably the reason I refuse to dance in GA. Unless I bring a body guard.

LMFAO!!! indeed folks; grammar and choice of words: The difference between conveying an opinion and sounding like Chris Harrison and a film crew should get involved. Lol.

Yelp is the worst place to get Vegas Nightclub reviews. Personally, I wouldnt go there for any review. Heres a review on XS, which you say is the best GA club (which I happen to agree).

I am not too happy with this venue (XS). We came to see kaskade. We bought tickets. After searching for the write line to get in, we found it. Not a super bad line. Once in, it was a shit show for the first few hours.

Trying to get a drink was impossible. The place is surrounding pools so it was very cramped. And felt like we were going to be pushed in. (Wasn't a swimming place). To get into the actual club you had to have two stamps. Which we did. But we had to wait an hour to get into it. Once in there there was another line to get to the dance floor. Another 20 mins.

All this waiting was so not worth it. And not planned out. I won't be back again.
Also, its well known that yelp is a fraud. They will delete positive or negative reviews based on advertising dollars. Just do a search on it.

Continuing to say Yelp agrees with you does not help your opinion at all.

I'll agree that Yelp does have it's fair share of problems, fraud, and unhelpful reviews, but:

                      Clubs:
                      Omnia 4.5
                      XS 4.0
                      Marquee 3.5
                      Light 3.5
                      Hakkasan 2.5
                      LAX 2.5

That ordering looks pretty good to me. Omnia, the newest is on top, XS is right under it, Marquee and Light are still solid, and Hakkasan is considered of the same quality as LAX because of the high prices, long lines, small space, and bad ratio that pretty much everyone without a table complains about while LAX is objectively terrible but at least it's usually free.

                      Pools:
                      EBC 4.0
                      Rehab 4.0
                      Marquee 3.5
                      Wet Republic 3.5
                      Tao Beach 3.5
                      Daylight 3.0
                      Liquid 3.0

Ok, so Rehab is too high, but that can be explained by a bit of demographic bias on Yelp along with Rehab still being one of the only pools for hip hop on a regular basis. Otherwise everything else looks about right, EBC is first, Marquee and Wet tied for second, Tao Beach is a bit high but it's been good value for money for awhile now, and Daylight and Liquid at the bottom.

So while some of the reviews are clearly ignorant of how clubs and pools should work, I'd say the Yelp reviews can help give a general sense of how people generally perceive each venue. Scores themselves never tell the whole picture, but I'd say those scores match surprisingly well with the opinions on this forum.
That was written awhile ago, and since then Omnia has gone down to 4.0 with a significant number of complaints about the number of lines, the length of the lines, and lack of space on busy nights. I'm still of the opinion that with as many rooms and as much space as Omnia has it's still GA friendly, but I've never been there at peak capacity so it could very well turn into a Hakkasan clusterfuck. Anyway, not to undermine the Yelp fraud PSA, but realistically it's not the worst thing out there for getting a feel for clubs.

No. Just no. As a woman who not only stands all night but walks to/from clubs from my hotel room in 4"+ heels, a man complaining about his feet hurting is unacceptable.

Preach! I pissed off some cab drivers with really short rides.. Sorry. Not walking anymore than I have too.

Yeah, I bet none of these people have ever been on their feet for 6 hours.

Should I be self-conscious even just a little bit that Wynncore ignored my invite to meet up at my table at Night Swim?
