  • First Time Vegas for 30th - Day and Nightclub party Advice!

    Hi there,

I'm hoping you can help. We're coming to Vegas from the UK next month for a special occasion - my 30th birthday. There will be 2 girls and 2 guys.

We arrive in Vegas late on Friday 29th May. We're thinking we could do a day pool party on the Sunday 31st May as have heard Sunday is good for day parties.
Then maybe an evening nightclub on the Tuesday or Wednesday evening.
We like hip hop / top 40.

Where would you recommend for us?
We like the idea of a table/daybed/cabana.

    Thanks!

Unless you're willing to drop serious wedge then forget about cabana. If I was you I would do Sat at EBC with Zedd as Saturdays are usually busier than Sundays. I don't really think there are any hip hop pool parties but sometimes the warm up DJ at EBC spins open format. You can get a beach couch for probably a one or two bottle minimum (most likely 2).

Tuesday go to Hyde for open format music or Omnia for something impressive!

You are going to be there the weekend of mAyOD and you may want to jump on there to see what the plans are. Link to the conversation:

Now people will probably grumble and such by what I am about to suggest but based on your like for hip hop/top 40 Rehab at Hard Rock may be an option.

Yes it had it's day. Yes it is off the strip and yes there are better pool parties out there (that focus on EDM pretty much) but it is still a solid party that has a niche crowd and style.

Chris is the go to host over there. Great reputation on the forum. I have a comped room reserved already set up for there 5/29 to 6/1. I have stayed there before, April 2014 last visit and was quite surprised by the amount of people that were there. I would only look at a daybed for there.

      Just another option.
