I believe so! The last time we went on a Thursday it was open. But the music in there wasn't that great that night.

I really liked Tryst on a Thursday night. It is pretty much Top 40 with a little mixed up house thrown in there. Age group was 21-45, good amount of women. Did not encounter too many douchey people. LOL

We're doing Tryst on Thur, and XS night swim and club on Sun. Some of us are staying at Encore, hence the bias towards Tryst and XS.

I've been twice to EBC at Night. It was definitely more busy with a bigger DJ, but still fun regardless. It's pretty much what the title says it is, Encore Beach Club at night with the added benefits of not worrying about sunscreen or whether or not you have shade and some oversized pool toys added to the mix. I'd say if you can't make XS Nightswim on Sunday or Drai's Yacht Club on Tuesday it's definitely worth checking out.

I do have to warn that the DJ currently scheduled for July 23rd is Jermaine Dupri, who is pretty much the only Hip Hop/R&B guy at the Wynn/Encore clubs. He's not exactly well known, and that's not everyone's favorite music, but I really don't see Drai's or just the terrace at Omnia being much better anyway. You also have the option of bouncing to Tryst easily if it isn't your scene.

No idea on pricing, only done guest listing, but just look for a host that does EBC or Surrender and they should be able to give you a quote.

It's interesting because he has a ton of Twitter followers and seems to get a lot of press, but he doesn't put out music very often. His last album is from 2001, he hasn't had a charting single since 2008, and on more modern music services like Soundcloud he's lacking much of a presence. It seems like he moved toward being more of a producer and fell into hard times financially so he's DJing now. I can get some people liking a throwback sort of vibe, but he's very different compared to the rest of the Wynn/Encore DJs.

cheapest yes, best no...consider Hakkasan, Light, Tao, and Omnia as well. all will be just as busy as Tryst and generally have higher end artists.

So is light still open on Thursdays?? I'd be interested to know what high end artist Omnia have on the patio too? Tao seem to have DJ five every Thursday so not sure his calibre is worth shouting about over anyone at Tryst....

Looking at their calendar, Light doesn't seem to be open on Thursdays.

Hey Noah, we're having the same dilemma for a spot to hit on Thursday. We'll be out there Thursday May 14th. Probably a group of 4 guys. We want to do table service at a spot that plays open format/hip hop. We know Thursdays can be slow at some spots in Vegas, so we're looking for the best Thursday party. I told my boys that our best options are probably Drai's, Hakassan, Tao, and Tryst (We want to do Omnia on Saturday, so we won't go there on Thursday). I checked for the DJ lineup, and it doesn't seem like any headliners at these spots. If there aren't any headliners at any of these spots, which spot do you think would have the best party?

for top 40 and hip hop your best bets are Tao and Drais in that order. DJ Five is a big local favorite and always does Tao Thursdays.
