Tryst Best Choice for Thursdays?

My girls and I have never been to Tryst and were wondering how it is since we've been getting mixed reviews. Just curious about the age of the crowd, music (hip hop and top 40s right?), general vibe, blah blah blah. If not Tryst than what are some better options for Thursdays?

Tryst is still a great medium sized club. Nothing has changed. The clubs plays open format which is basically top 40. You can still get very reasonably priced bottle deals. Back when the Thursday night options were Tryst, Tao and Haze, everyone would have directed you to Tryst. But now more clubs are open on Thursday night. I think that's why so many people are now hesitant to pull the trigger on Tryst. Have your girls been to Hakkasan or Drais?

Hakkasan is a solid option on Thursdays... It really depends on what kind of music you are looking for though.

I'm a fan of EBC at Night. Night time pool parties are where it's at.

We went to Hakkasan last year on a Thursday but I think we had some bad luck because the music was pretty bad in both and the crowd was iffy in both the main room and the ling ling room. We'd like to go back because we've heard so many people say how amazing it is but we'd also like to try some different places. I've been dying to go to Drais though, it looks awesome! I wanted Drais to be on our itinerary but I wasn't sure which days are the best.

I've been to Hakk doing GA several times and it was bad every time. Crowd sucked. I doubt I will go back on a Thursday if I don't have a table. I'm always had a good time at both Tao and Tryst on Thursday nights.

One of the best nights I've ever had in Vegas was Hakk on a Thursday night. But I had a table (and Noah on these forums got us upgraded to the dancefloor later in the night)

I've been twice to EBC at Night. It was definitely more busy with a bigger DJ, but still fun regardless. It's pretty much what the title says it is, Encore Beach Club at night with the added benefits of not worrying about sunscreen or whether or not you have shade and some oversized pool toys added to the mix. I'd say if you can't make XS Nightswim on Sunday or Drai's Yacht Club on Tuesday it's definitely worth checking out.

I do have to warn that the DJ currently scheduled for July 23rd is Jermaine Dupri, who is pretty much the only Hip Hop/R&B guy at the Wynn/Encore clubs. He's not exactly well known, and that's not everyone's favorite music, but I really don't see Drai's or just the terrace at Omnia being much better anyway. You also have the option of bouncing to Tryst easily if it isn't your scene.

No idea on pricing, only done guest listing, but just look for a host that does EBC or Surrender and they should be able to give you a quote.

Agree with Max - depends who the dj is and the size of crowd they are likely to bring to EBC. You can usually get deals of 2 x stoli for 700ish. Tryst and Drais will also have deals making table service very reasonable and messy....

I was led to believe that only the Terrace is open at Omina on Thursday so not sure why this would get a solid vote over clubs that are completely open.... Do Omnia on Tuesday or at the weekend.

If you are in town Sunday night do nightswim at xs and Tryst/ drais Thursday.
