XS pre-sales

Anyone been lately ? lot of reviews (legit i have no idea) are saying that pre-sale line is lumped with GA and lines are between 1 and 2 hours sometimes, even with tickets.

This BS club war games or legit ?

I just hopped on Yelp. There's a handful of reviews complaining about it from this week, but nothing that goes back further. If there are more negative reviews bringing up the subject after this weekend, then maybe it's something to take in consideration.

xs is part of wynn/encore= five star, five diamond,etc supposed to be really great service, etc so I would be really surprised if this was true.
For them big crowd 10k+ ldw events if they did this there would be a riot- that is why I can't see this being true.

Also, two of the Yelp reviews were from the same group, and considering a couple more reviews were from SoCal, it could have been the same people as well. It could have just been dumb people who didn't know what line to stand in. Or, they're full of shit.

I don't buy it. All of a sudden, during a slow weekend in August, pre-sales are a problem? After the club has been accepting pre-sales for a few years and no complaints? Like art said, this is a club that handles thousands of people on holiday weekends with pre-sales, and complaints like this haven't come up.

Why would they put pre-sales with GA now. That makes absolutely no sense.

I was at that event and had a totally different experience.
Which entrance did you use?
There were three entrances into xs that night.
1. The table/general admission line- near the shops.
2. Presale tickets by the pool- encore lobby
3. guestlist/locals in the conference room.
Realize that was the second largest crowd ever 10,500 thru the doors that night.

I was also at skrillex 1st show back to xs superbowl saturday this year and can understand why some people might get confused.
I got there super late but before he came on. They were running just the one entrance by the shops. I said to security presale and was directly to a line that lead to ga and another bouncer was guarding a closed rope and I told him presale and he lifted the rope for me and I cut the entire general admission line.

After all these years I just can't see it being true.
1. Esp. with all the new competition this year, drais and now life I can't seem them changing there system now.
2. with how much xs matters to the resort- wynn itself-
3. you have to realize there is $60 million worth of art in the hallway outside xs- those two jeff koons tulips and popeye. There is no club anywhere in the worth with that in the hallway and how low you can see those big names for.

don't want to speculate but around a week ago Tiesto showed up at xs nightswim
which I think is highly unusual considering how many shows he does for hakkasan and esp because hak was open that night

I just bought tickets for $35/$25 for Diplo/Skrillex but did it through the Wynn concierge just in case these reviews are true (which I don't think they are). I am pretty sure they would never eliminate the "hotel guest" line...

Maybe someone pointed me to the wrong line. I asked the people at the guest list line where to go for presales and they told me to go around the corner where the glass door is near the pool. in any case they need to do a better job with signage/communication. It's pretty bad when someone like me who's been there over 10 times has no clue where to go lol

Looks like something is going on with Surrender
If you look at there presale ticket events they are selling regular rickets and tickets+Expedited Entry for $10 more a person.
They aren't doing the Expedited for LDW so that leads me to believe maybe on the big events they are going to have the separate presale line but during the slower events they are going do the regular / +expedited system.

Maybe people are really paying the 2x the cover at hakkasan's expedited entry line and now others want a piece of that action

Maybe they are going the route of the airlines. Enough people will pay the expedited, so why not do it.

They do have expedited for LDW on Sat night/Diplo. XS isn't doing it any in September it looks like. This is probably a trial balloon and they are doing the study on Surrender instead of XS.

Nightclubs are a totally separate entity. They frequently have conflicts with hotel ops and marketing. Just look at how much trouble the casino loyalty programs like mLife have giving nightclub perks.
