  • Table Location at Tryst

    Hi guys,

first time poster. Organising a bachelor party for 10 guys in June. Looking at bottle service in Tryst on a Thursday night and were quoted a good bottle deal I think. 4 Goose / 4 Moet for 1200.

Table location is either 300, 310, 350 (around the stripper pole area).

Is that a decent location or too far from the action? And would that be considered a good bottle deal?
Any other recommendations instead of the above?

    Thanks for any help.

This thread is on the first page and addresses your bottle deal question (yes that is a good deal).

In terms of table I think you should target a dance floor table or a table that backs up to a dance floor table. You may have to give the host a healthy handshake ($500).

Those tables on the "upper" dance floor are still a 3k min + $500 shake (at least what I was quoted in March) and with these great bottle deals is a shit ton of liquor.

Also, if your guys don't like moet..you could also get 5 Goose and 1 Moet for the same price. (2, 2 Goose @ 450 and 1, 1 Goose + 1 Moet for 300).

Of the 300's, I think 310 is best. You may even be able to score two smaller tables, you'd probably have to host tip $500-$600 to do so (something like 401 & 402)
If you have to ask how much it costs, you probably can't afford it! That being said, it's Vegas and doesn't hurt to try!

      Planning
      2014 - March 13-16 - Bachelor Party
      2014 - June 5th - 9th (maybe) - Big 30.

I do not know which host is asking for a Tip or hand shake for a dance floor or upper dance floor tables. Tryst hosts should know better, requesting tips is against their policy.

Dude you sound like a narc. Most of us appreciate the transparency of a host advising us of the minimum spend and handshake required for specific tables.

Don't know where you've been, but XS and Tryst are notorious for Min spend + Tips. This is very well known in the industry.

I know there mins are high, but I havent been asked to a handshake ever, even when i sat at prime tables. Paying $500 for a prime spot at Tryst sounds quite steep.

the tips are for the people doing lower mins/getting deals. it gets them better table spots. if i recall someone just posted the other day they got quoted a 1.5k min + 500 tip for a dancefloor at tryst.

Paid $1500 + $300 shake for table 360 which was large and had view of patio/lagoon. Right near stripper pole. Was good for our group since we didn't want to be in center of the action. For you guys it's better to get closer to action e.g. 401-404 or 601-604. Quote I got for upper DF was $2K plus $500. FWIW, I wasn't paying super close attn but ratio might have been a bit off the night I went.

Unless you like Moet just get mostly Goose like Headstrong suggested.

                      Thanks for the input guys.

Don't think our minimum will be enough to move to a better location for 10 guys but hey I'll ask!

Last question for anyone who knows the layout - are any of the 300 tables better than the rest or does it matter where you are in that general area? We were given option of 300 booths 300-310-320-340-350.

                      Cheers

                        A couple of things:

                        Of those, I'd take 310.

Although if you increase your host tip slightly, you may be able to swing 601 & 604 or 401 & 402. I had 7 at in my group at 602 but it was fine as we were rarely all at the table, so 5 at each would be good. If you can increase your budget, you could get 6 goose for $1350 (only $150 more + tax/auto-grat) which to me is a lot better for a bunch of guys at a bachelor party rather than the 4 bottles of Moet.

Bobby is really up front about table location what you can actually get and gives you realistic expectations.

He is referenced about 100 times on this forum as being a super host. Great reputation. Hard to miss a reference to him on any Tryst thread.
