Bottle service and giving away drinks

Haha actually I am up there with Kinar. I have a steadfast rule of I don't buy drinks for girls, rather they buy drinks for me.

I live by this rule, but I apply it to everybody when I'm out. I generally try to get anyone who starts talking to me to buy me a drink...and it's easier then you think. Especially at concerts.

There is a whooollleee lotta overthinking and posturing going on in this thread. To the OP, just make sure you're on the same page with your guys BEFORE the drinks start flowing, and be assertive with your waitress if she brings all the bottles out at once.

All my nightclubbing has been in The Far East. It is a totally different set of entertainment than the Vegas Nightclubs. Thanks to everyone sharing their comments in these posts, as it is very helpful for me!

Dude this is my rule and I tell the guys, usually I give them the serious I'm a Marine look and I'll give your kick ass if you don't listen.

1. This is our overpriced liquor.
2. No liquor for bottle whores/rats.
3. Walk the dance floor and hit/pull girls that don't know we have a table. When they our out for a drink and they go for a refill invite them for a drink. They will put out the bar is over there, but you invite the to the table.
4. I have this contraption called a bottle rat trap, every time they grab a bottle without be saying so, I slap their hand away. " I don't know you!."

My opinion, Vegas isn't a city to be cheap in. The hottest girls in the place aren't attracted to cheapness. If the girls are attractive and they don't have the personality of a rock pour them a drink and see where it goes. Worst case they leave you after a drink best case you find a winner and get lucky. Its a cheap investment in my opinion to be able to talk to the hottest girls and weed out the ditzes in the group. This only applies to liquor though, champagne you have to be more selective since it costs more and doesn't go nearly as far.

we had a guy in our crew like that, he would pour the booze out to a stray dog, it was got to the point where the server actually wanted to kick girls out of our section, apparently while everyone else in the group had strayed of, one of the group of girls he brought back was pouring our booze for a guy at the neighbouring table :| .... We made one guy in our group the regulator, it was actually pretty funny because as soon as the bottles came two bottle rats appeared out of no where in our section, mr nice guy didn't hesitate to offer them drinks...we barely got to pour our own, as soon as they came over mr regulator gave them the Dikembe Mutumbo finger wave.
you can't give booze to everyone, so i agree set rules otherwise you'll be left at a dry table very early in the night.

most guys on here are giving good advice, i think the big one is when a girl invites her friends.

Ixquick/Google is a good resource to use. I searched and found that a 750ml bottle of alcohol (vodka or champagne) it is 25.5 fluid ounces. A shot is 1.5 fl.oz. which equates to 17 shots of vodka per bottle. Champagne flute/glass will hold either 125ml or 175ml, so you only get 4 to 6 glasses of champagne per bottle. Prices that I see are $475 for vodka, and $650 for Moet Chandon champagne on the XS bottle service menu. I now understand why Grey Goose is more popular (for Clubbers) as compared to champagne.

Question: When mixing a drink containing vodka, is the normal quantity = 1 shot? From a bartender's perspective, how much vodka do they use when you order a drink at the bar (vodka & raspberry, vodka & orange juice, etc.)? 1 shot?

Approximately, yeah. You'll always get bartenders w ho are more heavy handed and those who are light handed.

lol this reminds me of a night at 1oak, i had this one hot girl with her two average looking friends come up to our table. before saying anything she started kissing me, and then she asked if they could join us. I told her she's welcome, but there won't be enough room for the rest of her group, lol so they all just walked away
