I don't believe Wet Republic is open on Monday? When we went to MGM in July, 7/15/13, it was on a Monday and it was closed. We did the cabana at their regular pools that day. May want to look into that.

Planet's pool doesn't compare to MGM. I would put Aria's right there with MGM's with Aria getting the nod only because I was able to bring my drinks from my room to the pool as long as they were in an Aria cup.

I am about location and PH is a better option due to more centrally located on the strip. You don't lose wih any of them honestly.

Oh, could have swear I read somewhere its open Monday though you're probably right. I might have to re-jig my trip to San Deigo then and come down early Sunday, check in and get straight into that party! Do you get any advantages from staying at MGM such as reduced rates/tickets for Wet Republic.

Also I know this is a stupid question but for 3 nights, what am I looking at spending money wise ? I'm not a massive gambler but would like to try my hand at roulette, would like to go out two nights, see a show or two and go to at least one pool party?

funny you said that - I was there last year, it was on a Wednesday...I was pleasantly surprised how packed the line area was! I had a damn good time...my expectations were low cause I did the same routine the year before at Surrender on a Wed but the DJ was Lil Jon....have to vouch for Will I Am, he brings in the ladies

Yep...it was like SUPER packed!
I have to say im not a big fan of this not edm guys like will i am or redfoo....but they do bring ALOT of ladies

Monday its definately closed mate. Except Labor Day and holiday weekends.

You used to get free entry to Wet if you were an MGM customer and got down there pre 1pm. Not anymore though I dont think after Hakkasan bussed in the DJ talent and whacked up the prices.

Spending is a tough one. It all depends on where you go. My last trip I did $600 at Tryst on a thursday, $900 at Light on a Friday, $700 at Tao on a Saturday, $600 at XS Nightswim and about $400 on XS Monday. That was sharing a table between myself and one other guy and includes taxes and everything. Each night was at least two bottles of Grey Goose/Belvedere. If there's more of you it'll be less as you can share out the costs.

Day times I would average about $200 and was going to pool parties every day.

If you want a Monday pool party then Bare is where its at.

The only pool party on Monday is Bare at Mirage. Since you are rolling on a budget you're actually coming at the right time.

Yeah, like I said this is just meant to be a taster for us. I am not one for massive alcohol fulled party sort guy any way, I tend to listen to EDM under the influence of something else... haha Looking forward to it though! Cheers for all the help guys, actually can settle on stuff now.
