  • Table/ Bottle Service? Really Worth It???????????

Ok so my thought is that yes, it is definitely worth it, but I wanted to get other opinions to help convince my friends that this is the way to go.

I'd love to also get the ladies opinion on this too. Tables are attractive right? Obviously when you go to a club, you want to meet some cool ladies to hang with. Would it be correct to assume that having a table helps?

    Thanks everyone!

It will most definitely help with the ladies. Having a place to sit in a club in vegas is huge! Just watch out for the bottle rats.

Present your friends with the economics found in the below quote:

Cover for 10 guys @ ~$50ea = $500 (and you're waiting in line in the 115 degree vegas heat)
    7 drinks each for 10 guys @ $20ea = $1400
    2 waters each for 10 guys @ $8ea = $160
    1 sandwich each for 10 guys @ $20ea = $200
2 drinks each for 10 girls @ $20ea = $400 (assuming you each buy 2 drinks for ladies)

If you've got a group of guys who are already in the hole for $2660 and you've not even really drank that much....and been standing in no man's land the whole time. Cabana will run you a min spend of $2500-4000 depending on where you want to go and on what day. For sunday you should be able to score a cabana at a pool not named MBC for the lower end of that spectrum. No brainer IMO.

Tables help, as long as its a good location. I'd rather have a guy walk me to the bar to buy a drink than take me to a back alley to sit down with him and his buddies and drink. Lol but really, economically it makes the most sense (see above quote) and it's easier to scope out people in the crowd if you have a little bit of space to call your own.

Thanks man. Yeah that's what I was thinking. Do you think it makes the experience better? I'm operating with the mindset that "this is Vegas. Let's go to the best clubs and go all out because who knows when we'll make it back"

Definitely! I've never regretted spending money on bottle service. Be warned, though, it will spoil you!

Spend $150each for cover and a half dozen drinks and be stuck fighting the crowd to get into for your drinks, for a place to stand, fighting the lines for bathrooms.... etc.

                or

Spend an extra $50-100 per person and skip the long ass line, have an attractive waitress bring your drinks TO you instead of having to go to the bar, have security bring you girls to your table, have security walk you through the crowd and to the front of the bathroom line...have somewhere to relax and sit with your boys.

All that for simply guaranteeing you'll spend a little more on booze than you perhaps initially planned (but would likely end up spending that much anyway after buying drinks for ladies and such)?

Biggest no brainer ever for a group of guys.

+1 for what msavard said. Worth it if you are a guy just to beat the line and get inside.

msavard breaks it down to where it's a no brainer. Bottle service is the only way to go.

Of course there are always 1 or 2 in the group that want to tighten up the wallet or argue against it. My suggestion is let him or them stand in line while you and the rest arrange bottle service, walk in no prob, set up at the table, etc and when they realize they made a mistake after waiting on the long line, maybe even having to handshake the guy at the rope and waiting for that first drink at the bar, open up your hand and tell them to ante up when they arrive at the table asking for forgiveness.

Lesson learned the hard way personally a few years ago because their numbers didn't add up.....yep, I was that dumb a$$ once.

Lets put it this way... assuming a standard 3 day 2 night trip, most folks are dropping $200-300 on a hotel... $250ish on airfare/gas (on average)...etc etc. The long weekend will usually cost $1500-2000 when it's all said and done... right?

Now, this pool party is kinda a lynchpin of your bachelor party... one of the top 2-3 "events" you've got booked I assume? And we're going to hamstring it over 50-100 bucks? A key event on a trip costing 20x that sum?

Tell your friends to shoot the locks off their wallets and live a little. Sometimes in life it's worth it to spend a litte more to get a lot in return. It's called value and learning to identify it is a big step in leading an enjoyable life.

Its Vegas... Bottles all the way... go BIG or go HOME!!! spoil yourself... i will never not do bottle service now in Vegas... seeing how it works in GA for guys... tough work... sometimes you cant even get on the dancefloor due to it being so packed... so you stand around like a muppet... not a good experience.

How many is in your group? If there's only 2 or 3 of you then that 'economic' example really doesnt apply to you. But if its a huge group then yes, it's worth it.

Very, very open ended question. As long as you get the right min, for the right location, at a place you enjoy it is. Some places are ok without BS, and some places you shouldn't go in blind totally popping bottles. There's times before I starting working in the biz that I felt ripped off and after working in the biz can confirm that actually did get ripped off. Soooo, for the comfort of a table, ease, and be able to have a place to sit, pour drinks without dealing with a crowded bare, yes it's always better in my opinion. For girls, you can pimp in Vegas anywhere, bar, club, casino, dance floor, pool whatever, I don't think a table helps you hook up, I think you game does that. Table may help draw girls, but may not be the ones you want...
