I think it all depends on the situations. Case in point. 2 years ago during EDC weekend I was with a group of 10 for a bachelor party. We did Wet during the day on Saturday with Solveig and Marquee at night with Chuckie. Tables at both spots. $250 per person at Wet still is steep in my book, but it was worth it because I easily downed 12+ drinks, plus ate food. I would have easily spent that had I gone general admission. However, the table at Marquee ended up being the biggest waste of money, because we went so hard during the day nobody had more than 3 drinks at night. Now figure GA presales for Chuckie were $30 (so quick entry), and 3 drinks were $45. That's a total of $75 per person had we not gone the route of table at night. Instead we spent $300 each. Was having a table worth it to me or anyone else that night? The answer is no. All depends on the situation. I'm going in August with 3 other people and considering a table will set me back somewhere between $800-$1K I'm opting out this time. I know the other people in the group won't have more than a few drinks each, and we would take a bath. So presales it is.
Table/ Bottle Service? Really Worth It???????????

Yes... doing tables twice in a day is a bit aggressive.Originally posted by LongIsland2Vegas View PostI think it all depends on the situations. Also agreed for 2-3 guys it's not really worth it. Its also not worth it when presales are cheap and you're not with drinkers.

I've never been pressured to give up a table so wouldn't worry about that...you get the table for the night. Just communicate with your host regarding arrival time. If you're on a low minimum and/or tipping for location, then you'll need to show up early (10:15-10:30). If you're going to show up later, just communicate with your host, and do so with the expectation that it will be more difficult to get you a good location on a low minimum.Originally posted by whats-going-on View PostNice thread... trying to convince my crew this is the way to go. One question is do you get to keep the table for the night? Provided you meet your minimum, how much pressure is put on to keep buying more bottles etc?
Do you generally turn up early or when the place is busy?Like all great travelers, I've seen more than I remember, and remember more than I have seen.

Last trip I had friends with me that weren't sold on the idea of bottle service. I took them to 1OAK on Friday night and picked up the tab just so I wouldn't have to argue. One of the guys was REALLY skeptical...so we arrived at the rope, Joey spots us and immediately throws back the rope as we walk past everyone in line. We get to the table where our server, runner, and security are awaiting our arrival. Introductions as usual, order bottles, then my buddy sits down for a smoke. Before he can get a lighter out the runner reaches over and lights it up for him. This kind of service continued all night...he was blown away...and can't wait to do it again. He's chipping in next time.Originally posted by whats-going-on View PostThanks Chuck, exactly what I needed hear to get these guys over the line!Originally posted by Chuck View PostI've never been pressured to give up a table so wouldn't worry about that...you get the table for the night. Hey Chuck, I'm not convinced of this whole bottle service thing ... seems kind of pricy.Originally posted by Chuck View PostLast trip I had friends with me that weren't sold on the idea of bottle service.
