Thanks for all the help! We decided to go big or go home, lol. Button up, vest, tie, slacks, and fedora. And I think he's gonna try all black vans since its more comfy but bring a pair of nice dress shoes we found for cheap.

just go with the dress shoes. i dont see why go big then skimp on the shoes. itll save you the extra taxi trip back to the room to just wear dress shoes in the first place.

Blergh. Can people stop wearing hats / fedoras in clubs? Definitely a need to protect yourself from harmful UV rays at 2am

Not particularly functional if you can't see without wearing a hat.

If you are neither, then sit back, let the rich and/or good looking people sort their shit out, and then take their scraps. Booking early is not going to get you ahead of the rich and/or good looking people. Sucks unless you are rich or good looking. But that's what makes Vegas so great. It is completely transparent."

Fedora and vest? I'm not sure where this is considered stylish

+1 on being confused about the cheap shoes. There is nothing worse than cheap shoes. You don't need a tie either. It will all look like fancy dress.

Sunglasses are only excusable if you're getting involved in party favours, otherwise leave them at home douche

Nice jeans, nice dress shoes and a trendy t-shirt or button up always works. Though I have seen some slobs in Tier 1's lately - in GA
