  • Which is better?

Going to be in Vegas this weekend, have Friday figured out with BS at 1OAK, but wanted to see what people thought about my Saturday night. Right now, I have a table at Marquee for this Saturday, but am now getting mixed messages about the club. Is Surrender better, how about Haze? Any other clubs I didn't mention? I'm going to be doing BS with my 1 buddy both nights. Just trying to make this a great trip and unsure what I should do.

Really? I prefer surrender but in a "neutral" opinion i would say they're both on the same level, just depending on the night...

XS: 2012 total revenue: $80 million to $90 million

Surrender: 2012 total revenue: $45 million to $60 million

Ok almost double...but even tough...i don't think that anual revenues are the only criteria that defines a club as good...
They're both tier 1 clubs and i've been to marquee and surrender but sometimes surrender is actually better (most of the time for me) but that depends from person to person experience and also on the day, girls, dj, etc...that's why i would call that even.

So another question, XS and marquee have aproximately the same revenue, which one is better?

As it is Kaskade vs Lil Jon, I definitely go with Marquee on that one as I prefer EDM. But if you are more into open format / hip hop then I would do Surrender over getting a table in the Boom Box Room at Marquee.

In this case i'd also go marquee. Maybe XS for avicii but that wasn't an option on the thread hehe

It always personal preference, so IMHO, you have to go with majority preference. lol

I prefer XS, but I would concede to someone saying Marquee is #1. But the numbers Ive seen show Marquee with higher revenue. XS is also older. I personnaly think if Marquee had opened at the same time as XS, XS would win hands down. Just my opinion.

With Surrender, I dont really see a debate. lol I really like Surrender though. Usually go there on every trip.

Your probably right...it's just that i'm a big wynncore fan so probably a little bounded to that "side" hehe
BUT, i do think that XS djs are better well'known (again, i might be wrong), they invest alot in this...

Appreciate all the replies guys. I guess I will be keeping my table at Marquee for this Saturday...

First trip to Vegas, hopefully I'm doing it right with 1OAK and Marquee the two nights I'm there...

as always, Kaskade commands probably the highest minimums of all of Marquee's talent. Just be prepared for that since it's only two of you. You'll most likely not be receiving the best locations. Marquee, as most members here would probably agree, almost definitely requires a table for a great evening. Surrender with its open space will be more enjoyable without bottles but of course it's always more fun with!

Yea, I have a $1k minimum at Marquee which isn't bad at all... The two of us can throw down booze and we plan on getting some girls to join us so I wouldnt be surprised if we didnt go over $2k for the night...

Are you talking about May 4th?
FYI its Fight weekend and Cinco de Mayo

In terms of Kaskade at Marquee during fight weekend for a $1k min your probably looking at a really bad table location.
Since its your first time just trying to give you a heads up- its normally like $3k+ in the main room- your probably going to be outside on the patio. Would ask your host about your location before you drop a bunch of cash Marquee is min +38% tax/tip/let
If you want to try a place out get presale tickets, xs, Hak will all be going crazy bc fight weekend and cinco

Yea it's May 4th... Is there really a "bad" table at this club? Is the patio that bad? I really dont care, nor do I care to be in the middle of everything... I'm just looking for a place I can sit, drink my booze, and have a good time... Location is never a big concern to me, unless I'm being planted in some boiler room with cobwebs and insects...haha

Yea just texted Cliff Orr, he said $1k minimum is for the daybed on patio, $1.5k you can snag a table.

Question- Are minimums pre-gratuity/tax or do you have to hit a minimum including grat/tax?
