Why not consider Tryst instead of Surrender ? Just saying.... I love Tryst but never been to Surrender. Been to Marquee and crowd is much younger than XS and Tryst.
Which is better?

I really don't mind the patio at Marquee. Sure if you are really into physically seeing the DJ than you are shit out of luck, except for the video screen, but the patio still get's plenty of foot traffic and is at least not as overcrowded as the inside. I'll be doing the patio two weeks later for Kaskade as well. I would probably upgrade to a table though if you can do $1.5k, daybeds are fun for the pool party just feel weird to me for a nightclub.

Yea i contacted Cliff Orr and upgraded to the table... Me and my buddy were budgeting $3k a night so the $1k or 1.5k minimum isnt a problem... And to be honest with you, i prefer less crowded areas, I just want to relax, have a table, and enjoy drinks.... And I dont care at all to see the DJ, I dont follow it and I dont even know who Kaskade is, hahahaha... I know like 1 DJ and thats Deadmau5 haha...
Not a clubber at all, typically go to sports bars, but when in Vegas, I'll make an exception..

Pre-gratuity/taxOriginally posted by jhnny7716 View PostYea just texted Cliff Orr, he said $1k minimum is for the daybed on patio, $1.5k you can snag a table.
Question- Are minimums pre-gratuity/tax or do you have to hit a minimum including grat/tax?
Surrender is great. I had just as much fun there as at XSOriginally posted by griffon909 View PostWhy not consider Tryst instead of Surrender ? Just saying.... Either be rich or good looking (or mooch off someone who is one of those). If you are neither, then sit back, let the rich and/or good looking people sort their shit out, and then take their scraps. Booking early is not going to get you ahead of the rich and/or good looking people. Sucks unless you are rich or good looking. But that's what makes Vegas so great. It is completely transparent."

Yes, avoid the Daybed! It's very low to the ground and not comfy at all. Def upgrade to table and stay away from that boom box room, I like the pool area there, my fav location if you get the right min.Isaac Kaz Curry

Yea, I actually prefer to be outside on the patio, especially if it cools down at night a little.... Being inside would only matter if I cared for who was performing, but since I don't that patio works out just fine. Not to mention I'm not looking to dance or be in a crowded area where you get all sweaty...haha
Definitely glad I was able to upgrade to a table, would have been disappointed if I showed up and was lead to a day bed...hahaha
