I just posted what the website had on it, looks like it has since been updated with changes to the pricing for the 3 highest classes of tables. I wasn't recommending anyone book through the website, only listing the pricing in an quick, easy to read format for people to have an idea of what prices were like before contacting a direct host.

I think everyone understands that you won't have acts in the middle of the night where the music stops and all the attention goes toward some sort of performer, but The Act had roaming costumed performers and Rose. Rabbit. Lie., when in club mode, was a continuous DJ set but with some live instruments every once in awhile, and again some more roving performers. No one is expecting a show here, what I and all the people I know are wanting is that bit of flair that was talked about by Mark Shunock in his interview with the Las Vegas Sun.

          Updated price list:

          Table Price Breakdown Thursday-Saturday:

          Location
Minimum / All-In (taxes, fees, and 20% gratuity, but not including host, security, or runner tips)

          Main Dance Floor
          $10,000.00 / $13,095.38

          Side Dance Floor

          Lower 3rd Tier
          $2,500.00 / $3,348.94

          Upper 3rd Tier
          $3,500.00 / $4,684.51

          Immediate Patio Booth
          $2,000.00 / $2,681.15

          Immediate Patio Table

Will the table layout be similar to tryst? are the side dance floor tables on the main dance floor, what about the third tier tables?

Hmm...so Intrigue just announced a Seal concert on May 21st. If that wasn't confusing enough, it starts at 8pm, which doesn't seem like enough time to clear out a club before opening. That said, if you roll from Seal straight into opening the club, I am not sure you have attracted your typical club going crowd. Its definitely a unique approach, I am keeping an open mind, but Seal being the first name dropped is definitely a different marketing strategy.

I would think they would clear it out and reset. Wynn/Encore doesn't have a ton of theater space so to do special events like this they have to typically give up a Showstoppers performance, with Intrigue they can do an earlier show and just open the club a tad bit late. EricChine might be able to clear up the issue if hosts have been made aware of how they are handling it.

I'm sure you are probably right. The Intrigue twitter account is promoting it as Seal at Intrigue Nightclub, which more than anything struck me as a really odd first name to promote as you are trying to launch a new and trendy spot in Vegas. Certainly is a long way from the promo videos they are running.

I saw it on Facebook but they have taken it down from their timeline, so not sure what's up with that. The tickets page on Wynn Social changed a bit, they got rid of gendered tickets and added tables from $1k-$1.5k with a bottle of vodka and champagne. Seems like they don't even quite know what they are doing yet with this event.

And now it's back "We are proud to announce Seal: An Intimate Evening at Intrigue Nightclub on Saturday, May 21 with a early 7:30 p.m. pre nightclub show." So still unclear if they are clearing it out or not, regardless I'm hoping it works out, a small concert venue for Wynn/Encore is definitely a welcome addition in my book.

Ya, I don't disagree, its fine as a pre-nightclub event, but I still think from an early marketing standpoint its a disaster. We are going out on that weekend and had actually considered a table there. I told my wife about Seal being booked, and even after I explained that it was a pre-club show she said "Glad you didn't book a table, we would be canceling". Its fine to use the venue, just don't think you want Seal as the first thing club goers see on your event listings. Nothing against Seal, he just doesn't create the buzz or type of environment I would think they are looking for.

I think i can vaguely understand their reasoning in trying to do a soft opening, maybe? to work out the kinks. Plus try to be different with the Seal announcement. However, I think they are totally overthinking this. People will come because it is new and different. And then people will talk on social media and the internet. It's not rocket science.

If they wanted to show they are different by booking seal, I think they should done some kind of pre-opening tag line. ie, party before the party. Or "party the day before it opens" party. Differentiate while also staying true to your market.

I also just noticed the dates. Official grand opening is the 28th. The seal thing is the 21st. So it seems they are in fact marketing this as a pre opening party. However I think they needed to go farther in explaining that.

Different months. The grand opening is April 28th. Seal is booked for May 21st. So while a decent theory....that doesn't seem to be the case.
