  • Entry in XS without table booking

    Hi,
I am new to this forum.
I will be travelling to Vegas for the first time next weekend. I was thinking to go to XS with my wife on sat night (Feb 23rd). Do I need to book a table? If I don't book a table and get the cover tickets (online) beforehand, would we still have to be in line or can we directly go inside? Thanks!

There is a separate line for those with presale tickets. That line moves quicker than the general admission line (and you don't have to tip a bouncer if you hold a presale). Obviously, the earlier you get there, the faster the line.
EastCoast: "I will preach. Vegas is easy. So easy. Either be rich or good looking (or mooch off someone who is one of those). If you are neither, then sit back, let the rich and/or good looking people sort their shit out, and then take their scraps. Booking early is not going to get you ahead of the rich and/or good looking people. Sucks unless you are rich or good looking. But that's what makes Vegas so great. It is completely transparent."

Good to know! How much before, for example, this Friday's LA Riots show will they sell out of tickets online usually?

Also for table booking, do you get a better table if you book earlier? Is it always best to phone the promoter?

You can probably still get tickets the day of through wantickets.com. I don't see LA Riots selling out.

You won't get a better table by booking earlier, but you will by increasing the size of the tip you hand to your host. Be up front about the size of the tip and where you were hoping to be seated - the host will let you know whether that's possible (though it cant be guaranteed)

Try and get in contact with a host about 2 weeks out from the date you want and then let them know a few days beforehand that you are still coming. Using a host recommended on these forums (and telling them you are a JC member) is the way to go.
