We're planning to hit XS on Friday during March Madness, 6 guys = 2 bottles, plus $200 to the host. I'm guessing they'll have a headline DJ that night. Do you think we'll have any trouble getting a table inside, and could we know for sure ahead of time? Location doesn't matter much, we just don't want to be stuck outside!
XS on Mar 22 - outside vs. inside table?

Most people on here say $2500 (with big tip) / $3000 as a minimum for back wallEastCoast: "I will preach. Vegas is easy. So easy. Either be rich or good looking (or mooch off someone who is one of those). If you are neither, then sit back, let the rich and/or good looking people sort their shit out, and then take their scraps. Booking early is not going to get you ahead of the rich and/or good looking people. Sucks unless you are rich or good looking. But that's what makes Vegas so great. It is completely transparent."

As a point of reference, I got a back wall table (table 160) last Jan for Ingrosso with a 4 bottle min on a Saturday night. Total table spend including tax and auto grat was $2575. Host tip was additional $400. Runner and Security tips were around $150 total. If Avicii is spinning the night you're looking at then I'd say the $2500 - 3000 min is accurate...otherwise you might be able to get a little lower bottle / table min.

I would go to the club with the DJ I wanted to see. The music at XS and 1OAK is different. Tryst is also Tier 2 as opposed to Tier 1, so it depends on what you want to do. I've had an outside table at XS and liked it - more space to move around and dance, not as stuffy/hot and you can talk a little less loudlyOriginally posted by bsterr View PostThanks for the help.
Would you rather have an outside table at XS and be walking back and forth all night, or get a table somewhere like 1OAK or Tryst? With the DJ stage separating the dance floor from the pool area, will XS be dead outside on a Friday in late March?EastCoast: "I will preach. Vegas is easy. So easy. March 22 lineup not out yet (but the week prior is) - so keep checking here over the next week or so: http://www.wynnsocial.com/calendar/EastCoast: "I will preach. Vegas is easy. So easy. I've suggested that a couple times. I think a Mod has to make it a sticky (and someone has to volunteer to maintain the calender).Originally posted by Mr.Vegas View PostAnyone remember or know how to make a sticky? We should have one for calendar event links for each of the majors and possibly tier 2 clubs. Suggestions?

I have a question on how the table assignments work in most of these clubs... if you plan ahead (which is what we are doing before coming out to Vegas) and request a good table from a host, will the VIP host just simply tell you yes you'll have a good table, and then basically everything boils down to the size of the tip when your group arrives? I guess I'm trying to get at, how can you pretty much guarantee you're not going to pay thousands of dollars for bottle service and somehow get screwed on an average or below average location for your table? Won't there be a sort of a pre-determined spot for most groups, making the tip a moot point?
