Yelpers, also usually have no clue what they are doing when it comes to booking a table. If you don't know what the min SHOULD be, you can't tell if you got screwed.

it has it's benefits. yelp isn't exactly a good place for club reviews but it does a good job at giving me an idea of how a restaurant is and if I should spend my limited time in vegas there or not.Originally posted by not a vet but no rookie View Post
Hotels... it's a hit or miss cause most people only turn to yelp to give negative reviews after a bad stay so it outweighs all the good reviews that never go up from the people that have had a good experience at that same hotel. And if you read them, most of the time it's either cause the room wasn't cleaned prior to their arrival or something wasn't working correctly and automatically they give it 1 star cause it made their experience horrible.2013 Calendar: March 20-21 (Treasure Island). Agreed with the posts above. I'm not on Yelp, I was simply pointing out it might be a good idea for him to spread the word about his experience with Red Carpet VIP. Sample Yelp Review of XS -
Mindy Whatevers from Council Bluffs, IA writes about a HORRIFIC time at XS. She complains that there isn't anywhere to sit down "unless you pay thousands of dollars for a table!", and that this isn't what she expects when she waits in line for an hour, wearing heels, and pays $30 to go to a 'bar'. Then she makes reference to some club she's gone to in Omaha, NE where it's $5 to get in and plenty of places to sit. She also scoffs at the prices of drinks to the effect of "We got a round of Bud Lights for my group (4) and the total was $48!" and that the crowd was really pushy with 'girls dressed like sluts'. She also hates the music and wishes they'd play more Ke$ha.

The ones that are even worse are the reviews done by people who never set foot in the club they're reviewing because they are too ugly to get past the doorman or not resourceful enough to navigate the Vegas scene.
