i would not rely on spyonvegas. they usually are very late on posting schedules and sometimes dont post certain clubs.Originally posted by Richard Doughty View Postspyonvegas.comOriginally posted by cowboy2024 View PostSide note to all these DJ changes....does anyone know of a good calender that lists who will be playing where? Looks like Body English is going to be the guinea pig of the non-commercial stuff.Originally posted by Mixman88 View PostThere's lots of edm talent to go around. It's just the clubs with deep pockets get the dj mag top 10 djs. There are djs that can still rock it that don't have to be in that top 10 or even on that top 100 list. Maybe some clubs change it up and go on the
more real house and tech house sound Ibiza style. The next step for Vegas is to go beyond the commercialism of EDM. It would be cool to have a club where Richie Hawtin had a pool party residency. Just not sure if the Vegas crowd is proper enough for that stuff. I'm sure if Ritchie got booked at any of the current pool parties, he would get yanked since his sets are about layering sounds methodically. Not like the djs sets full of white noise build ups and snare rolls followed by electro style bass drops every 30 seconds. It would be cool to see if a Vegas venue can cater to a different genre of "EDM" and be successful.

It's an interesting mix that's for sure, but they will struggle to find an identity. I wish them luck, but they will definitely have to drop the velvet rope they were famous for.
P.S. good to see Beej still around.Vegas trips
Too many to list
