In general a $400+ tip is pretty damn pursuasive. Getting there early while plenty of tables are still available is key.

For me a $150-200 tip on a $2k min would be the lowest I would go with no expectations of a location upgrade or anything.
Others have said I tip too much, so keep that in mind....but I look at tips more as investments than expenses...
You'll be fine tipping $150 on a $2k min...just don't expect any extras.Like all great travelers, I've seen more than I remember, and remember more than I have seen.

No, I am pretty sure that is an extra Chuck is talking about in addition to the upgrade in location. It has worked for me with free drinks. Shots usuallyOriginally posted by dazmac13 View Postok interesting. so if i was to tip 300-400 what kind of extras could i be looking at? when you say extras i guess you are purely talking about location and nothing to do with any free drink or anything like that?Las Vegas is sort of like how God would do it if he had money. ~Steve Wynn

Example...i tipped $400 on a $1200 min and got a better location, 12 free shots, and an offer for a comped food/drink at the dayclub the following day. Not saying this will always happen, but it's not uncommon either.Like all great travelers, I've seen more than I remember, and remember more than I have seen.
