I never really understand the "It has a great view" comment. City Lights just don't do it for me. A cool sunset. The ocean. That is worth it to me. But to be on the top of a building in the middle of the desert to look at a bunch of lights, I just don't get it.
I'd rather go to Hyde (I haven't been there yet) and watch the fountains if I was going for a view of something in Vegas.
(FWIW - I have been to pretty much every "view" spot in Vegas, but I didn't really go for the view).
Mix - Was great food a few years ago. Not sure if it still is or not.
Foundation Room - Best meal of my life. Private room with 10 of my best friends for dinner.
Restaurant on Top of the Stratosphere - Expense report dinner with my bosses, boss. He wanted to go. Really good food.
Ghost Bar - I have had a blast here. Probably would have had just as much fun on the ground floor.
VooDoo Lounge - Years ago, when it was pretty much the only view of the Strip that was fun. Dinner and drinks.

Thanks all - I am going to put Mix and Hyde on the list for sure. The bride to be picked the Bellagio b/c she loves the fountains so I think Hyde will be a hit.

One of the other girls suggested Ghostbar but she went years ago so I wasn't sure if it's still worth a trip.

Ghostbar is cool...if you're going to make the trip though have dinner at N9NE while you're there.

@timbuck2...I guess the whole view thing depends on where you live. I've got all the sunrise/sunset/nature crap I can handle.
I like them city lights, and for someone who's never been to Vegas it's pretty spectacular.
