Suggestions to ease into a crazy girl's weekend??

My 3 friends and I are heading to Vegas next week (June 21-24) for a girl’s weekend (4 women, mid-30s). One of the girls is getting married soon so we’ll do a proper night out Friday. I am the only Vegas virgin but somehow I got put in charge of organizing all of this!

The only request is from the bride-to-be to hit Tryst on Friday night (seriously, she has sent me a link to the website three times, I got the hint!)

I am looking for something more low-key for Thursday when we get in. I was considering the lounge at Hyde because we will be staying at the Bellagio and are looking to ease into the party scene. Any suggestions on more low-key places?

Help is totally appreciated because I am totally clueless... all my ideas so far have come from checking out these forums.

What type of music are you into? Each club has its own genre of music that they will play on certain nights.
Also check the Tryst site to see who is the DJ or performer that night. That can gauge the type of crowd, vibe and music it will be for that night.

Ask her the reason why she likes Tryst. If she's been there before? If she hasnt been to the others, such as XS or Surrender, I would keep that option open. Personally I like XS and Surrender better in the summer than Tryst. I like the open layout of those 2 big clubs in the summer months.

I am not sure why she is so into Tryst... she hasn't been there before (but one of her friends raved about when he was there last year). She does not dance, just drinks and people watches so I think she was into the atmosphere of the club?

As for the rest of us, we are more into house, top 40 music than hip hop. I will definitely check out the Tryst website for that night and see what's going on.

Hi Bos, I wonder if we've met before. When I was like 15 I spent my summer break in Boston. I was 347 pounds and kind of shy. I got whipped with milk weeds by hot girls and some of their boyfriends, I think maybe that is where I get my anger from. Were you in Boston that summer?

If youre into house, Surrender and XS tend to have a better DJ selection and more people watching. I havent been to Tryst lately, but only time I see it pop up with celebrity DJs is when Jermaine Dupri is there. I doubt he's doing house over there.

I might suggest sticking with Tryst even if it's not the fan favorite from the forum.
Would suck to have a disappointed guest of honor on your hands even if another spot would've been better.

As far as lounges to kick things off on Thursday...

1. Hyde
2. Gold
3. Ghostbar/MIX

You could jump around a bit too since you have a small group. Such as hitting MIX around sunset (if you're there in time) for a drink or two then bounce over to Hyde and hang out for a bit.
