I've read of a couple experiences on this forum where groups got to change tables during the night. Is it common to switch tables after everything is settled?
In my experience, on a busy night, usually not common to find yourself/group moving to a better table location. Unless you decide to take extra care of your host ($$$) and let him know you want to settle elsewhere then the location you were set up with. If you want assurance that you won't be put in a crappy location then agree to a 2 bottle min so Chris can get you a better location than a 1 bottle min table.

Chris will definitely take care of you tho, I had the pleasure of meeting him 2 weekends ago and he definitely took care of JC people.
I would say get there really early considering it's EDC week/weekend to make Chris's job easier and getting you a good table but you won't be arriving till prime time so it's all up to luck what spot you'll get for the night.

I actually booked two tables that night. I believe its called lower skybox. 4500 min each table for up to 22 guys each. Decent price and I like the larger room type of table. Basically my goal was less than 300$ each so even at 20/table it works.

can anyone tell me the bottle pricing? I read online that it starts at 350 and goose/belvi/jd are 375. Can anyone confirm this? So if that's accurate then 12 bottles for 20 should be sufficient, well theoretically anyways lol.

and is it 30% that you're supposed to add for tax/tip or 20% plus 8.5%? I've never had to organize tables before.

      thanks.

The tax and tip is calculated off your final bill, if that's $4500 exactly, then yes. Don't worry about asking the host too many questions, you're spending YOUR money to have a good time, you should be very clear about all the details.

If you spend $4500 then tax will be $366 and tip will be $900. Assuming you do like $500 host tip you're looking at $6300. If it were me...I'd add an extra $20 per person on top of that to cover the other tips (security, runner, bathroom attendants) cause someone will get stuck with those tips. And, you'll want to have a little cushion for going over your minimum. It's easier to give some money back than to hit people up for more.
Like all great travelers, I've seen more than I remember, and remember more than I have seen.
