Official FML! I'm missing May Invasion Thread

Answering phones, looking at my computer screen (mostly Colton Forums) and counting the minutes until I got off work. Then rushing home and pretending like I'm catching up with the evening festivities! I'm taking my son for his 21st at the end of July or begining of Aug. and couldn't swing 2 trips this close together. Being a Cubs fan I'm used to having to say this... wait til next year, AOD!

yep 7 weeks n counting before I land in Vegas so the trip reports and updates will help me finalize my personal 1-man invasion.

No. There's only 1 real invasion and it's this trip. Some people just like to call their trips/smaller meet-ups "invasions". Don't get me wrong those trips are great too but not the same.

Is there an invasion for Halloween? Hoping so that way I can plan the next trip around it.

No official "invasion" as I mentioned. But it's a popular weekend so there typically is a good number of members that plan to go together. I've gone the past 2 and we've had good numbers both years but I will likely sit out this time around. Feel free to take the lead in organizing a trip though!

I proposed to my director that we have our next annual retreat in Vegas. While she liked the idea, it wouldn't be good timing as my employer is shedding tens of thousands of jobs.

All the more reasons to make my time there in a couple weeks count and then some.
