  • Toms canvas shoes for clubs?

Hi people, just a quick one as I'm looking for help on evening club wear, here in the uk the fashion for most is fitting jeans and a canvas style shoe ie TOMS I'm guessing they exist in America etc.... I'm just asking if these will be smart enough with some good fitting jeans v neck t shirt and waistcoat? I accept the fashion is different all over the place, only asking as I'm not a big fan of ur everyday black leather shoes..... I know collard shirts are pretty safe in Vegas just after some help really guys cheers!!

Are you buying bottles or going GA? I'd only try Toms if I had bottle service lined up. Otherwise, better go with some leather loafers or something. I like a good driving loafer, just as comfy as Toms and don't have to worry about the dress code.
Like all great travelers, I've seen more than I remember, and remember more than I have seen.

Toms are a new trend that hasn't caught on with the 'unpopular' crowd, so with a clean enough fit, you may pull it off. Toms don't really fall under the 'sneaker' category, so you may be able to chop it up if they ask... Basically, if you make em sound like designer shoes then the bouncers may give you a pass.

I can't imagine any good doorman allowing someone to enter a Vegas club with Toms on. Nor can I understand why you would want wear sock shoes in a club.

I've seen them in clubs. So long as you're dressed properly, no big deal.

Robby, I wore them last year with bottle service and GA and had no issues whatsoever. That was for TAO and XS.

I didnt know what they were until this thread. Umm.... I would pass on this. Different strokes, but if I was a doorman in Vegas, I would not let them through.
