Hip Hop Clubs On the Vegas Strip

I'm going to Vegas for a bachelor party on Saturday May 19th but unsure what club to check out. There's 6 of us going and we're looking to book a reservations for a hip hop club. We're not looking for top 40 or house music and don't want anything dirty, shady or ghetto. Can you give us some recommendations?

The only place that will play hip hop exclusively AND on the strip that I can think of is the Boom Box room at Marquee.

I can't comment on Crown at the Rio as I've never been there before.

As much as I love hip hop more than EDM (though I'm much more in tune now with it), it's tough to find in Las Vegas as a tourist. The clubs on the strip cater to what's popular and what's popular is Electronic Dance Music.

10OAK would be your best bet, while not a hip hop club they would be as close as you can get on the strip.

don't know if that's the reason but it def looks like they got rid of hip hop nights, at least on fri and sat. it's latin now, which I prefer. Gonna have to check it out now

derp yeah gallery too. I went last weekend. It's wack though lots of grenades and overall not a nice crowd.

Yup, Crown Nightclub flipped about a month ago and is all Latin-themed now, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Security incident in the Rio parking garage pretty much sealed that deal. With new Latin format, Crown is very busy on Saturdays. Good looking crowd, well dressed. For Hip-Hop you may wish to check out www.aevegas.com since that site seems to focus more on the urban events in town. (Hope I'm not breaking any TOS by linking).

I dont know this year, but there was alot of EDM at Rain last year. Saw Rusko and Pauly D there last year. Zen Freeman was good too. Certainly not hip hop at Rain from the half a dozen times I went there last year.

I believe moon plays more hip hop than Rain

LAX could be an option and maybe Tao. Caveat though... it's going to be hard to avoid Top 40 AND edm. The clubs tend to be House/EDM or other(top 40/hip hop)
