Club suggestion Friday June 22nd with good dancing

I'm going to Vegas with a group of friends the weekend of June 22nd. That Friday is the only night we will all be able to go out to a club together. We have a group that will consist of 6-9 people with most of us married couples around 32 years old. I'm looking for a good spot with good music and a good dance floor. Musically, I am guessing that the girls would prefer either EDM or top 40-ish and less hip hoppy. We're not planning on going with table/bottle service.

I went to Vegas for the first time last year with my wife, and we went to Tao on the same weekend in June on a Saturday night. I liked the place. We were initially outside near the pool which had a cool atmosphere, but no one was dancing. We went downstairs and the place was so packed you couldn't move.

Any thoughts or suggestions on a club to go to? Thanks for the help!

Since you've never been to XS you need to go to XS.

That was looking like a pretty good choice, and they seem to have some good dj's spinning pretty frequently which appeals to me quite a bit.

It's like a film buff has to watch the Godfather. He doesn't have to like it necessarily, but he has to watch it and explain why he does or doesn't like it. You can't just say "I love movies but i never watched the Godfather."

XS is for people who want the best and most luxurious with a touch of real vegas style. Everything is first rate and scenic and beautiful. The layout is open and well conceived. The demographic is well heeled and attractive but fairly diverse.

Marquee is for people who love edm (not that XS doesn't play edm but marquee is #1 in perception). It's the newest, most hyped placed in town. It has a bit more cool factor than XS but superficially the club doesn't look as good. It's split up into a maze of rooms and isn't laid out well. You can't see the entire club from anywhere. The demographic here skews younger and a bit more asian than XS.

For a bunch of married couples I'd bet good money you'd have a better time at XS.

Is it worth contacting a host for guestlisting if we are planning on doing GA on a Friday night? If so, is there an appropriate time window to make that contact especially considering we are about 45 days out still.

No. GA just go early if you want less hassle. 10, 1015.

You're couples and that's a 1:1 ratio so if you're early there's really nothing to worry about.

I always get in the club when it's empty and head right back out to get some poker and drinks in. I reenter around 11:30 when the fun really starts.

More asians go to Marquee than XS? I thought it was the other way around, but maybe things have changed?
