Oh ok, I'm guessing Tao would have the most? I'm planning a bachelor party with a lot of asian guys, and I'm guessing they'll prefer the clubs with the most hot asian girls. My guess is Marquee, XS, and Tao?
Club suggestion Friday June 22nd with good dancing

Yup those three you'll be guaranteed a heavy asian population.Originally posted by eyo View PostOh ok, I'm guessing Tao would have the most? I'm beginning to feel bad that Ive never been to XS. lolOriginally posted by tombrokaw View PostXS is for people who want the best and most luxurious with a touch of real vegas style. Everything is first rate and scenic and beautiful. The layout is open and well conceived. The demographic is well heeled and attractive but fairly diverse.Originally posted by BigPimp View PostOriginally posted by tombrokaw View PostIt's not even that. You may not like it. Although I'm sure you'll like it because it's beautiful.
It's just that you have to go. And say you went.
It's like a film buff has to watch the Godfather. He doesn't have to like it necessarily, but he has to watch it and explain why he does or doesn't like it. You can't just say "I love movies but i never watched the Godfather."
I will have the choice of an inside table at XS or Marquee on an upcoming trip. I can't do both on my group's budget. I have not been to either. Should we do XS?
Marquee is for people who love edm (not that XS doesn't play edm but marquee is #1 in perception). It's the newest, most hyped placed in town. It has a bit more cool factor than XS but superficially the club doesn't look as good. It's split up into a maze of rooms and isn't laid out well. You can't see the entire club from anywhere. The demographic here skews younger and a bit more asian than XS.
For a bunch of married couples I'd bet good money you'd have a better time at XS.
Oh I just realized you aren't the OP. I would need to know your demographic before answering about preference.
There arent many other tier 1's that I havent been to, but your post suddenly has me rethinking my plans for the next trip.
I used to think XS had a younger crowd, and was kind of avoiding it. (late 30's here) Also, it seemed to be one of the harder places to get into without BS. Was I way off? How easy is it to pull off the early entry/play poker/return move? Id be up for that.

great news for you then. XS is pretty diverse age wise. Think about it, it's a real expensive place. It's not going to be filled with only 20 year old's.Originally posted by Maximus View PostI'm beginning to feel bad that Ive never been to XS. lolOriginally posted by tombrokaw View PostXS is for people who want the best and most luxurious with a touch of real vegas style. Also, the line is pretty efficient and no nonsense. If you go early and pay cover, you get in. It's that simple. Only thing that might muck this up is if a big name dj is playing that night.
You also get back in np, so doing the early entry, leave, come back is a great idea.
Also don't go on sunday during the summer. That's the night swim and they close the dance floor and I don't like it.
