  • Hyde B.S. MDW

New to the discussions here but have followed for years. I had a question regarding who is the best contact for bottle service at Hyde on MDW? I have attempted to contact one host 3 times and another one just once. Both were the hosts listed here. No response either time. They have been the only ones not to respond from several clubs that I have inquired with. I understand it is still early but the performers are not as important to us as securing the table so we don't need to wait on event calendars.

I have done bottle service several times over the years out there(Bank, Jet, Tryst) as well as other cities so no problems with understanding the costs/expectations. I just have no contacts in place with Hyde so I have no idea how they are running it or their minimums.

It will be just me and my girlfriend doing it and we are targeting Friday 5/25. We are looking to have it in place as early as possible so we can make other plans regarding shows or other options. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Was one of the hosts Anthony Connelly? Also, did you text or email those hosts.

No, they were the ones listed on the front page here: J Roc(3 emails) and Greg Costello(1 email). I usually always email first just to make contact rather than text someone out of the blue.

I had great luck with my Tryst VIP contact from here last time so I just followed the same formula.

Text Anthony Connelly - 702-350-4070 - tell him you're from JackColton.com. Hosts are used to texts and prefer them, even if it's first contact.

From reading many of the threads its pretty clear that quite a few of the hosts listed on the main page aren’t actually the hosts that most of the members recommend.

You are better off contacting the hosts that post on the site or referrals from the members.

Not sure if the hosts listed on the main page pay a fee to be there or if there are just a few bad apples out of the bunch.

Most of the time someone in here says that a host listed on the front page hasn't got back to them, they are e-mailing them. I'll give you a good example, Jroc for Hyde, that guy is all over the place. He is in the pauly d show, he was in another tv show before that, he was a higher up @ the palms and am sure is over at Hyde...imagine all the e-mails he gets? That's why it's always best to text them. Yeah sure people will say a good host should reply to both equally as fast, but we all know it is a lot easier to scroll through texts than it is through e-mails.

We give a lot of love to the hosts who post on here because they are active within the JC community.

I agree that this dude is probably very busy, but you only get one chance to make a first impression. Not only is he getting a bad reputation for himself he is also giving his employer a bad reputation.

No matter what business you are in its very unprofessional to not reply to any type of correspondance you receive.

Come on if you advertise an email address then answer emails. If you are in the service business you actually have to provide good service. Thats not to much to ask for.

Obviously he doesnt need the business if he cant reply back.

                          WARNING: LONG POST

Just to clear the air a bit, I'd like to point out the host listed on the host page are generally the most senior, widely connected, largest network of clientele hosts. They're generally the main/top hosts at the venue and recieve hundreds upon hundreds of texts/emails etc a day and half or more are longterm return clients, work-related emails, questions upon questions, etc.

Granted, yes they are very busy, and yes every client is important, these people (ex. Larson) are also the Director of VIP Services and the boss of multiple other hosts and handle every single table reservations that goes through the club everyday.

If they don't get back to your email right away or the same day, I doubt they are neglecting you. They are simply handling whats in front of them for the current night/weekend ahead of them. Especially for emails with subject line is "MDW 2012 Table Prices" or "Coming to Vegas in August". Those are obvioulsy dates which for people that work the vegas nightlife all week every night are very far away, and honestly we won't know the exact pricing for your given group till a couple weeks before anyways.

Generally, the hosts/promoters that post regularly, including myself, are small fries in comparison to the people listed as the top host. We're able to get back to you quicker and more accurately within the same day simply because we have far less on our plate then the top of the food chain guys.

Sorry for the long post, just want to clear up the situation from our end and get rid of any doubt or feeling of neglect.

P.S. Andrew Kahn's new to the forum and unaware of the policies, but he's actually my #1 host for Hyde Bellagio and I use him for all my personal referrals. Also, he's been with SBE for a very long time.

And yes, texting will always get our attention faster then emailing. It more personal then email and shows you probably got our number from someone or somewhere we know.

Just a thought. If the contacts on the host page are top hosts of a certain property, would it benefit the members if there were additional contacts of other hosts to use. If there are a few hosts that handle a specific club, it would be good to have a choice so 1 person isnt bombarded with all the referrals from the forum. Other hosts can take on the workload and help their clients better.

I believe that's where member referrals come in and people post up other hosts contact that they've had a good experience with in the past. Just pretty pretty please people don't start shopping around to multiple hosts at the same venue seeing if one will price cut the other one or sweeten the deal with whatever just to get you as a client. That's the only issue I see with hitting up a group of hosts at the same venue.

Other then that, I believe the Host Appreciation section is a great place to get multiple referred hosts.
