Tier 1/Tier2/Tier 3 Clubs

Hey, wanted to know which clubs people consider to be Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3. Also, which Tier 1 and Tier 2 clubs won't be playing EDM exclusively on Friday and Saturday night? We're looking to do Bottle Service on May 18th and 19th, and would like to hear some Top 40/House/Hip Hop, but also want to be in a nice scene with some top notch ladies.

Marquee/XS/Tao = Tier 3? Come on now, I'm not a Vegas veteran, but I've been to all those spots... clearly the top notch spots in Vegas...lol

I think he just has his numbering backwards, with Tier 3 being the best for him

Polyesters! Rum Jungle, Studio 54, Ra (now that's really old!)

Out of those places, for top 40/hip hop, go to LAX, Gallery, Pure, Chateau, Surrender, Moon & Tryst.

For EDM, pick Marquee (though it does have the Boom Box Room) & XS.

"Top notch ladies" is subjective. What I used to think is top-notch in my early 20s has definitely changed as I got older.

On this board posters will largely agree with the following:

Tier 1A - XS, Marquee, Tao
Tier 1B - Tryst, Surrender, 1OAK
Tier 2 and lower - all other clubs (Haze, Palms clubs, Pure, seem to be at the top of tier 2)

The above is based solely on the thousands of posts I have read on this board. I prefer Tryst to Tao so I have not included my personal opinion.

Is Vanity at Hard Rock not even worth considering? I've never read a thing about it so I assume it's just dead, but then again people write that all clubs Friday / Saturday are busy, so I'm not sure what to make of it. But I am staying at Hard Rock so figured I would ask

I had a great time at Vanity but then again I was only there for the grand opening a couple years ago during new years weekend when Diddy, Rick Ross, Jadakiss, and Mayweather were there. Loved the layout of the club as well.

Vanity is more of a mix of top 40/hip-hop which seems to take a backseat to EDM these days.

As it's been stated somewhere here, this board seems to be slanted towards EDM heavy clubs. I organized a bachelor party there last August on a Sunday night and for what I thought, it was great. Based on the budget, I knew the guys wouldn't pay to go to Marquee or XS on a Friday/Saturday.

One of the guys that was in the group complained, but then again, he's a chronic whiner at everything and just in general an a$$hole to most people. He also was likely the one to not one to buck up for B.S. In the end though, he was the one that got some tail and took a chick out of the club.

Thursday Night - Tao (General Admission)
Friday - Wet Republic Hot 100 Contest (Daybed)
Friday Night - 1 Oak (Bottle Service)
Saturday - Wet Republic/Marquee Dayclub (General Admission)
Saturday Night - Marquee (General Admission)
Sunday - REST!!
Sunday Night - The Bank

So people consider XS better than Tryst? Is it mostly because of the size?

I figured it would be

Tier 1: Marquee, XS, Tryst, Surrender, Tao
Tier 2: The Bank, 1OAK, Chateau
Tier 3: Pure, Moon, Haze, Palms, etc.

Strictly my opinion:

XS seems to get better reviews primarily because of the venue. It's huge. It's really nice inside. Plus it plays EDM, which is the big rage right now (several years ago it was mash-ups and top 40).

Tryst plays more of an open-format, is smaller and has been open longer.
