Vegas or south beach??

hey was just asking this question because me and 3 of my friends (all male) were thinking of doing a week in vegas in the summer maby july or a week in miami we went to vegas last year in september the weekend of the mayweather fight and it was amazing but we were thinkin of trying miami but there is hardly any info about it and the forums i have been reading say it is hard to get in the clubs unless your droping big money ... or do u think we should just do another week in vegas!! ??

I did SOBE for a couple nights before a cruise. It was awesome, you'd have a blast for sure. If I had to choose I'd do Vegas every time. SOBE is more expensive, not much, but it is.

I love South Beach but it is not Vegas. It was also hella expensive when I went to south beach. You can do Vegas on a budget if you need to.

Pros and cons, sobe is much closer to you, you want to be around a buncha so-cals or more Latin carribean tropic flavor? Also depends on what time of the year u go....but myself I usually have more fun in Vegas.

Been to South Beach and Vegas almost back to back last year so it was easy to compare them for me right away. But this is more like comparing apples to oranges, different scene, environment, weather and partying vibe. I really liked the South Beach but Vegas is more fun, no doubt.

Club scene is different in south beach clubs are more restrict and picky far as who they let in (girls are super hot), usually no lines (at least places i been to had this problem), people just pile up front of the ropes and tries to get bouncers attention to get in. And South Beach is more expensive comparing to Vegas (didn't do bottle service though so not sure about the difference on that).

Vegas is like home. Feels like everything falls into place there for me. haha,
I've been to SB once and it was ok. The vibe is different as some say.

I dont even go out in LA clubs anymore, its hard to compare to Vegas. I just feel the right amount of energy is in Vegas.

yeah its not just this forum outhers i have been reading have kinda put me off miami because we are coming from the uk and flights alone to the states is like 1000 dollers then hotel for a week another 1000 dollers lol and we look to have about 800 a day for spending soon adds up lol so we have to plan right last question we stayed at the mgm last year was good but forsome reason i got a good feeling when i visted the palms for ditch..

were is the place to be staying do you think this year the cosmo? or is the palms fine?

The Cosmo is definitely the place to be right now. Planet Hollywood is great and a bit less expensive. I've talked to a few people that stayed at the Monte Carlo and were happy with it. I'm partial to the Mirage. But if it's action and endless oceans of young attractive ladies streaming through your hotel, Cosmo it is. I never stay off strip. You'll drop at least $20/day more in cabs if you're off strip.
