Any luck with Independent Host?

I go to vegas about 1-2 times per month. Business trips, host parties, bachelor parties, etc.

Everytime we go we spend quite a bit of cash on getting a good table.. buying a bunch of bottles, tipping host, security, etc.

Has anyone had any luck with using an independent host in setting up weekends? I mean everything from clubs, limos, party favors, strip clubs, girls, etc.

Ideally I would like to use just one guy to set everything up for us and us not have to worry. In return he would get a shit load of repeat business with good amount of transactions involved.

Any contacts or leads would be great!

With that said, I would rather use a direct host I have a relationship with and use him/her to make all my reservations. They have go to guys at all the venues in town and can set everything up for you if you take care of them.

I'm sure several of the regular hosts that post on here would be glad to help you.

I agree with others though, preference is to deal directly with the club contacts from this site if possible. Never had one JC recommended host be anything but professional and helpful.

Ok, my group has been in contact with an independent host, and he said along with getting us a table for one night for the prices he listed, he'd be able to walk us in to any club without waiting in line for another night.

This is all during MDW. For getting into a club without waiting on line, I would assume we would still have to pay some type of cover, especially if a DJ is playing? Anyone have experience with this?

I had an independent host offer the same thing, it cost $60 per guy for "hosted entry". All he would do is tip the host at the club and keep a little for himself...sooooo....how about you just tip the host at the club directly and eliminate the middle man?

Does it have to be an independent host? There are good hosts out there that can do everything you ask. One person/one tip and youre all set.

This is immediately what I thought when you said immediate entry anywhere. Especially on MDW. I agree, figure out where you want to go and contact those hosts directly. Unless the independent host you're using is highly recommended and vouched for by multiple people, I wouldn't chance it.

I initially booked with an independent host...then the good folks of JC Forums saved me and now I'm spending a similar amount and getting WAY more out of my night going direct...here's my original thread when I first started the process. Lot's of good info here for newbies

It really comes down to preference. If you are interested in having someone handle everything for you, go for it. There are plenty of professional and qualified indy hosts / hosting companies who will be great to work with.

I agree, Noah Auspitz is the one to go to. He was the highest rated in our last host awards.

It seems there are two types of Independent Hosts. Individuals, like Noah, and hosting companies. While I won't contact a hosting company again, I'm not totally against the idea of contacting someone like Noah if I were doing multiple venues over multiple days.

Agreed. Hosts like Noah Auspitz will always take care of you and have the connections and experience to handle your entire trip start to finish and every detail in between. But if you've never heard of them and neither has anyone you've talked to. Stay away!

I've had multiple clients come running to me, because they decided to try out an unknown independent host who promised to hook them up and did exactly the opposite.

Noah Auspitz and similar - Yes, always! Randoms you don't know, don't do it.
